Let's just face it. We have the most undecided backline in the competition.
The Roosters went through it in 2016, trying to find the best spot for Hastings, Watson, Mitchell, Nikorima and Parramatta Eels star Blake Ferguson.

But not to worry, 2016 turned out pretty well for them. ffs

It's reasonably simple. Pick the best players that suit the position. Apart from losing Norman and picking up Fergo, our backline is still very 2018 like. Put French at the back, guess where the bombs will be directed. Same place they were this year with the same results. Mennings needs to step up right away or catch an uber to Wenty. Gennings has done OK but I hope Sivo pushes him for his wing position.

All the forwards need to provide punch, not just one, but you can almost guarantee BA will pick him ahead of more worthy prospects. Both Alvaro and Kaufusi have bulked up over the off season to now be around 115kg so big boys. Alvaro is slowly developing a handy offload and Kaufusi I'm sure would have gained confidence from his stint at the end of the season. I'm expecting big things from him. Terepo provides up tempo energy and also developing a handy offload and hopefully Evans comes good. Imo plenty of better prospects so wonder where Mannah will fit in. I only expect him to feature once the inevitable injuries hit, but BA, and you obviously, have other ideas.

Mannah is a better defender than every other forward at the club (with the possible exception of Alvaro).

He's not flashy or a highlights reel type of player, but he still has a valuable spot on our 17-man roster.

French is pretty good under the high ball, I thought...

It’s funny you need to drop all these names to justify yourself Mr Schneider. You must be one of those dads that has there nose in everyone’s bumholes so your son gets pity picked.

But yeah like you said, everyone’s got opinions and I know what I’ve been told, he will never play NRL. So you believe what you want mate.

Next time drop some more name of the coaching staff that every supporting should know to big note yourself.
Your posts smack of those that of a 12 year old who lives next door to Mahoney's 2nd cousin or something... No insight, all misplaced arrogance. The bloke you keep trying to ridicule has passed wind that stink less than your posts...

Actually it doesn't matter a snot what my ideas are. BA never listens to me. But you can bet your nuts that Mannah will be in the top 17 this year if he is available. And you will no doubt use this as proof that BA is a f**kwit no matter how well he is playing.
I'd never call BA a f**kwit or anyone else and never call people names even when they do to me. Childish stuff as they can't form a decent idea to counter an argument. This is a fan forum and guess what, he never listens to whatever the fans say on here either, even tho some appear to have better ideas at times.

BAs greatest strength is his loyalty to players and at times this becomes his biggest weakness. He tends to give out of form players too many games before dropping them or leave out better forwards and stick with his usual incumbents (as in Mannah). But this year he is fighting to save his job and has a full crew around him, including Jimenez the ex-Storm trainer, who appears to be putting a little steel into the players. Also some of the forwards have put on weight so that now we'll have about 5 forwards up around 115kg and a host of juniors of similar weight desperate to get a run. If nothing else our players will be well trained by the start of the season. There is also an ex-coach amongst his crew which will place further pressure on BA to pick the best team and perform at a higher level.

This gives me optimism we'll perform better than most pundits expect, hopefully top 8, subject to the following concerns, injuries of course and the composition of our halves which gives me the greatest concern.

Suicide mission. Gutherson should not waste his talent in a position he is hopless at. Let him master one.
Gutho at centre was not hopeless, I thought he did a good job and much better than the $800k imposter next to him this year. Yes Mennings better improve otherwise welcome to Wenty.

"Next to him" on the other side of the field

He was referring to gutho wasted in the halves - not centre
