LOL - 22 days to go !
Only 22 more days until we have something to actually complain about!
Woohoo!

Who the f**k cares if Watmough was a leader or not!
He’s long gone. Move on ffs!
I just said that Watmough provided leadership in a team with a paucity of it.Jeez Guts, I never thought I would say this about anyone else, but you sound like Pou's circular reasoning to win this one. So many interpretations, excuses and strawman arguments to make Pou proud.
Boy how hard is it. The guy's heart wasn't in it, therefore he didn't give a crap enough or wasn't motivated enough to put in the in depth hands on knowledge and guidance that was\is necessary to help turn around a club which is extremely short in supply of characters who are strong, focused and have the qualities that can command respect on and off the field as a leader should. Watmough was never a leader as such even at Manly. Don't ever mistaken experience for leadership. He has way to many character faults and merkin behaviour traits to be a true leader.
His pod cast slamming DCE, whether you agreed or disagreed is evidence of what a leader should\would never do. He is just a emotional ratbag who was very good at footy and had a seniority at a highly successful club with many elite players around him. But to elevate him to million dollar leadership material level when he is well known to be a "one of the boys" type and parties with the likes of A. Johns and W. Mason, is a bit rich. Never a true leader which is what Parra needed\needs.
Hell you have a ton of experience posting on this forum, but hardly anyone would call you a leader compared to someone like Hindy is and how he guides this forum almost like a surgeon from topic to topic.
Oh and Pou, an old merkin on a million dollars yelling at young merkins on far less at training to go harder then spearing off doesn't make the older merkin a freakin leader. Also if the training sessions were lacking intensity, where were the coaching staff in the first place? Why were they(were they?) allowing the players to train without high intensity? That should never happen and should not be left for a new recruit, no matter who to point out. Can you imagine a Bellamy team needing a new recruit to come in a yell at the players for low intensity? BA came from that club so he is well aware of what type of intensity is needed to compete successfully in the NRL. He should be getting that intensity no matter who is at the club.
P.S. Go the RAMS!! Superbowl here we go.
Don't you get it?? It shows how f**ken shit we are f**ken!
But only BA. There's no systemic issue within the club from before him that lead to us identifying the need to sign an experience player like Watmough as a potential leader. That's nut hugging.
I just said that Watmough provided leadership in a team with a paucity of it.
That’s hardly a glowing endorsement when you consider how f**ked our team was at the time.
Don’t really get why it is such a problem.
It was left on a table at the Norman Hotel. A live game of golf on Foxtel was playing in the public bar.Hey, someone stole my popcorn!!!
Fair enough. It’s starting to come back to me.It was left on a table at the Norman Hotel. A live game of golf on Foxtel was playing in the public bar.
Cam Smith or Boyd Cordner would've been much cheaper.I just said that Watmough provided leadership in a team with a paucity of it.

We could have paid for them with all of the TPAs that we have coming out of our ring pieces.Cam Smith or Boyd Cordner would've been much cheaper.
You're probably right. I reckon we should move on. Perhaps we could discuss why we're still paying Daniel Mortimer?Who the f**k cares if Watmough was a leader or not!

Aren’t we still paying for Finch as well???You're probably right. I reckon we should move on. Perhaps we could discuss why we're still paying Daniel Mortimer?

Like I said read the post, no beers mentioned. You do know that occasionally Raudonikous is invited to SOO training to talk with the boys do you not? He might be old but the firebrand within him still burns fiercely. Maybe not your best example. So Fergo is having beers with the boys after training? I bet he isn’t. There is absolutely zero issue with a player having a life and family outside of work and it isn’t even remotely a barrier to being a leader. I can’t even believe this is being debated.
Ripping in only works in certain ocassions or with certain personality types. Maybe you are one of those types. I’ll take your word for it.
You need to use it sparingly though or it loses its effect. There is a reason that people like Tommy Raudonikous haven’t been within a sniff of a decent coaching job for over 20 years.

FFS!!
It's cheaper (and funnier) than hiring Vince Sorrenti.Like I said read the post, no beers mentioned. You do know that occasionally Raudonikous is invited to SOO training to talk with the boys do you not? He might be old but the firebrand within him still burns fiercely. Maybe not your best example.
So he stays back for lattes? Big f**ken deal. That doesn’t disprove my assertion that you can display leadership during regular training hours. Can you only be a leader if you stay back late? That’s really simplistic.Like I said read the post, no beers mentioned.
How often has he been invited? Every year by every coach? You do know that occasionally Raudonikous is invited to SOO training to talk with the boys do you not? He might be old but the firebrand within him still burns fiercely. Maybe not your best example.
