Thats just it ... he is not a young fella ... and he f**ked up similarly last year ... he is old enough to learn from that
Step off old man

Have a good hard think about that. I see that as rewarding stupidity.Because if every player dobbed on themselves when they behaved like a bit of a dick then we wouldn't have enough players to make a comp.
If they were any merkins other than ours I would have been all over itCan’t you just tell Kenty they were NRL players? Perhaps Cleary, Maloney and some other merkins
Exactly.... If his nickname around these parts was "Maximus" or "Knuckles" instead of "Penis" he'd probably garner more support....I suspect some views in here would be different if he wasn't perceived as an expendable player. But is he really as easily replaced as people suggest? Not sure about that.
I think he was great last year ... and definitely part of our top 17 ... and tbh i dont know if we are that deep to be able to cut himI suspect some views in here would be different if he wasn't perceived as an expendable player. I think our players probably have had it a bit easy yes but that doesn't mean the next person who f**ks up even just a little bit gets the sack, especially at this point of the season. So a fine for sure but something on top of it as well, and no doubt alcohol counseling. Maybe just make the rest of the team do extra push ups like in all those army movies.I think he was great last year ... and definitely part of our top 17 ... and tbh i dont know if we are that deep to be able to cut him
But i think our players have had it a bit easy for a while and he needs a real kick in the arse ..... gotta start drawing some lines
What do you reckon is a fair punishment? ... or maybe no punishment required?
My problem with people saying "he's done it twice" is that they're two very different incidents.I like him - good player.
But twice now he has gotten on the piss, made an idiot of himself, and hidden it from the club.
You'd expect that from an 18-year old, but not a 27-year old, tbh...

He's one of only a handful of our forwards who've played more than 100 NRL games.I suspect some views in here would be different if he wasn't perceived as an expendable player. But is he really as easily replaced as people suggest? Not sure about that.
I just think that with this incident, not informing the club is more of a grey area. But even if you think otherwise it doesn't have to be the nail in the coffin. The thing that remains, is that he clearly doesn't have either the balls or the care factor to report it to the club.
Like I said earlier, the two incidents are probably forgiveable. But the fact he hasn't informed the club both times is a bad look.
Sack him then re-sign him for less.I'd just suspend him for a while and ask for cap relief.
The first incident was bad. I mean getting thrown through a windscreen while drink driving is borderline maniacal...The thing that remains, is that he clearly doesn't have either the balls or the care factor to report it to the club.
