Dragons will have to be patient bc De Belin is 4 weeks away from the start of his Federal Court case to see if he has the right to play. If the answer is no, then STG have the right to seek cap dispensation to sign a replacement.

My comments were generalised concerning NRL player behavior for the most part. As far as Peni is concerned, I'm just steamed up because we've had more than enough bad press for f**k knows how long. After reading about the exploits of so many other players and he then puts himself in a similar position leading into one of the most important seasons in Eels history only beggars belief.

What we've been hearing in the press lately is allegations of aggravated sexual assault, and using a conveyance to spread images of sexual intimacy without the knowledge of the girls involved. These are very serious allegations. We are sick of these things coming up and we're understandably defensive about the game we love. But to make an example of Peni's very minor indiscretion just because it comes in the midst of all this other shit, is ridiculous.

My point is that Terepo has had trouble with getting drunk, and acting like an idiot, and while we should always seek to rehabilitate where possible, we are running a football club, not a charity - and having players walk around like that is a massive liability to your brand.

And my point is that what he's done here aint all that bad, I'm not excusing it, I just don't believe the reaction on here is justified by what he's done. Fine him, put some conditions to him about his expected behaviour regards his ongoing playing contract, and move on.

I would hope that the coaching staff, and board members, do not want a pork chop carrying on like an arsehole, while representing the club, and I would certainly expect there to be a self-reporting policy.

If I was on the coaching staff, or a board member, I'd be pretty annoyed by someone doing stupid shit, while drunk, and hiding it.

I was out after work one day, wearing my uniform (after working that day), and got an RBT (I never drink, so I passed).

I was expected to self-report this to my boss, because I was unofficially representing my company.

Granted, Terepo was not representing Parramatta in an official capacity; but being of a much, much higher profile than me, I would expect him to have the decency to front up, and admit he made a mistake.

Instead, he chose to cower away.

Agreed. I think that coming off the off-season of shame we've had, combined with the spoon and our woeful results over several decades, has people ready to throw the book at anyone who steps out of line. Even if it really means we're just cutting off our nose to spite our face.

I'd suggest that, thanks to their excellent training programs, if you did actually work at Macca's you'd be far more employable, grounded and educated than f**ksticks like IFR33K

The incident is small but the repercussions are that for the second year in a row we are without a player who should be playing!

Last year we started 6-0, so with that in mind and knowing that getting off to a good start for your fans is needed, you go and do something f**king dumb again and get yourself suspended.

Sorry but i say f**k him off! He'll get a job somewhere else, let us replace him with someone who wants to commit to our club and not put us at a disadvantage to start a season!
