I'm trying to leave this workplace, because to say they are Draconian would be an understatement, but there are complications which prevent me from doing so.

But yes - they are that ridiculous...

Pay is pretty good, but conditions are not fantastic, and my wife and I are trying to sell our apartment, so moving jobs right now is inadvisable.

I never worked at Macca's FTR. But given how much of a lost cause I was until about the age of 22, and having since hired plenty of people who did, I have no problem saying I'd likely be in a much better position if I had. Most people who have done hiring for client related or management roles will tell you their training is outstanding and a shit load better than I got at fking Coles.

The incident is small but the repercussions are that for the second year in a row we are without a player who should be playing!

Last year we started 6-0, so with that in mind and knowing that getting off to a good start for your fans is needed, you go and do something f**king dumb again and get yourself suspended.

Sorry but i say f**k him off! He'll get a job somewhere else, let us replace him with someone who wants to commit to our club and not put us at a disadvantage to start a season!

Hard to disagree with this.

After the season we had, being 0-6 and eventually winning the spoon, you’d think the players were out to make amends and 100% committed. Especially the senior ones. Even asking the players to lay off the alcohol to start the season wouldn’t of been out of the question. You’d think the players would of learnt from the KE saga and the release of Norman that the club is trying to shift the culture. I guess peni’s the next cab off the rank.

It's very similar to a lot of other companies, in the sense that, once the "powers that be" run out of ideas, then they implement and/or enforce stupid policies, in order to flex their muscles.

I don't understand the reasons behind why they do what they do, but what can you do?
