He speaks quite well for a footballer.

FFS, Shaun Lane isn't Laney. He's 'Davo'.
Andrew Davey = Laney.

Do you mean Siosaia Davey? That's right, the merkin we should be talking about is Laney. Did you know that his junior club was the South Eastern Seagulls?
It's fortunate they don't both play for us or that could get confusing.FFS, Shaun Lane isn't Laney. He's 'Davo'.

Ken's brother?Do you mean Siosaia Davey?
When it comes to speed we are talking 17 vs 18. Unless he had a significant injury (and he didn't) then his physical decline would have been insignificant. I agree his form was down in 2018, but I don't think he was any slower or weaker. No we weren’t talking 17 vs 18.
Considering we were the team with the lowest average possession (https://www.nrl.com/stats/teams/?competition=111&season=2018&stat=9) a centre was never going to have the opportunities to rack up many highlights. But he was still easily our best defender in the outside backs. He was one of our best kick chasers and he came in to help with hit ups, which is the weakest part of his game. He was one of our best (and still is) but we weren't able to use him. Did you know he played one extra game than the year before but made 55 extra tackles? Despite this his tackle efficiency was up on 2017.You stated he was one of our best in 18, and I disagree. Anyways no need to pollute the forum on MJ, hopefully he recaptures some form and we both STFU
I don't know where this idea comes from, that a new coach needs years before he has a team able to compete. It's only the case if he takes over a shit roster in salary cap trouble. We're in a very good place in 2020 from a salary cap perspective, with only Ferguson, Paulo and maybe Nrown on big money.Theoretically then a coach won't need a few years to assemble his own squad like in the past. He should just hit the ground running ?
Thought passing was the weakest part of his game? He's thrown some shockers and other times not passed at all when he should of.He was one of our best kick chasers and he came in to help with hit ups, which is the weakest part of his game.
No. I read today that the weakest part of his game was too many salt and vinegar chips. All good now though cause BA got that sh*t sorted in the off season.Thought passing was the weakest part of his game? He's thrown some shockers and other times not passed at all when he should of.
Passing isn't a key skill for outside backs. Passing the ball near the sideline is a high risk play, and wingers/centres are usually better off taking on the defence than risking a turnover.Thought passing was the weakest part of his game? He's thrown some shockers and other times not passed at all when he should of.
I think Terepo gets a stay of execution at least.Does BA look for a prop/middle forward to replace NBrown, or does he promote within?
Was it ever confirmed he will only get a 1 game suspension? All i ever read was that he was stood down for the first game and we were looking into itI think Terepo gets a stay of execution at least.
It wasn't. Unconfirmed or something, which is fair enough when you're still investigating. But if they were not sure about how to deal with it I'd say this doesn't hurt his chances. Was it ever confirmed he will only get a 1 game suspension? Be sure to knock on his office door between 11:00 and 11:03am. You might get lucky.Yes. On reflection the offence (and the fact Nrown has been injured) should be one week only. Get on it Bernie ffs.
Moeroa lock, Jnr to prop
The reason you have a squad of thirty is so you can cover injuries through the season, including in round one.Does BA look for a prop/middle forward to replace NBrown, or does he promote within?
