The Leagues Club makes less money on game days than it does on a non-game day and is already profitable. I know and it is probably in top 10 most profitable leagues clubs.

I used to be a financial manager of a RSL Club and every time they had good entertainment or there was some nearby event the pokies turnover (and bar and food) increased enormously. Doubt that would have changed over the years.
What is your source, or are you just guessing? And what happened in 1976?

In 2018 he got found out in defence many many times, and missed many opportunities of scoring tries, he wasn’t the same player to previous years. Suggesting he was one of our best is a far stretch. He was copping it deluxe from everyone here very often. The only players I think that were worse that played a few games were French and w Smith. I’m not so sure even taka was as diabolical to him.

I am going to have to disagree here. I find that the older i get, the more I need to concentrate in order to 'perform' and the more I concentrate, the more frustrated I get.

Look, I agree. I know I’m not able to take the same risks while driving that I used to. I can feel my reaction speed is too slow to allow the things I did 20 years ago. But we’re talking Jennings 2017 vs 2018. The change would be negligible.

I reckon merkins just made him a scapegoat because he’s our most experienced player and they assume (as do I) that he’s massively overpaid.

So people’s frustrations were due to their high expectations rather than his form compared to the rest of the team.
