I don't disagree that this mostly about Ayoub but to be honest, I can't accept that at 24 years old we can call someone still a kid. Sure he may not have had to find and hold down a real world job as yet but that doesn't make him a kid. Heaps of 24 year olds have real jobs, families and other responsibilities. We shouldn't further propagate the notion that footballers are anything special in this regard.

I'm only ten years passed the mark and I think most of us would acknowledge that we were still pretty much kids at 24, with the benefit of hindsight, tbh.

That aside, at 24 if he wasn't a footballer he could easily be one year or so out of uni, for eg. He could still be working out wtf he wants to do with himself. I was. I agree more with Suity. Perhaps "kid" is too broad a term but he's certainly not a grown adult yet.

That's fine and I accept your view on this but we can't assume that all 25 year old's are as grounded and mature as other's. Who knows, he might even be getting advice from his parents or friends or even former team mates? This just has slimy manager written all over it, and I have no doubt that said slimy manager is leaking to the press to further pressure our club.
I'd also think that our club isn't prepared to be bent over and rooted.
