Kaufusi looks the goods. There is also Hollis and Hughes waiting in the wings. Terepo needs a change of clubs. Evans is one game away from turning into a Terepo. He has errors written all over him and can be pretty lazy. I hope he proves me wrong though. Regardless I reckon hes gone at seasons end.
Paulo was the best prop on the field last game. RCG looks ok but I'm hoping better is yet to come. Alvaro looks to have his cards marked like Mannah did last year. Stefano has signed elsewhere. Maybe we should be on the lookout for another above average prop. Welch from The Storm almost got here bar injury. Maybe worth another look.

One thing I think we are lacking is genuine speed across the centres, flanks and fullback. We have power with Sivo, Blake and Fergo, football nous with Jenko and Gutho, but none have that out and out blinding speed. Can't have everything I suppose...

Evans is replaceable but not by a huge amount of players. He’s definitely in our top 14 players. Decore is 15. The bottom half are all infinitely more replaceable

Kafusi has potential to leapfrog everyone on the bench.
Evans,Kafusi,Niakuore are in the 17. The last spot is between

Taka,Stone,Smith,Gower,Terepo,Alvaro.

I like Stone as he can cover Mahoney. Same as Smith. I also like Taka for his utility value. With the 3 fit and on bench I'd rather one of these 3 over Gower,Terepo or Alvaro. They'd get no game time so better to have a just incase option if an injury.

I'd like to see what happens with Corey Herewira Naera. If he wins his case or becomes a free agent then come on down. He's a gun player.
One of the most improved players who will be looking at offers is Adam Elliott. Certainly have a crack at him. Brings a lot of energy, bends the line and can put on a hit. In a good side his game would go to the next level.

I was thinking about him while eating dinner. I bet he goes to Storm

Adam Elliott is good, but is he better than Nathan Brown, Shaun Lane, or Ryan Matterson?

In my opinion, no.

I would say, perhaps a little arrogantly, that our starting pack is among the best in the league.

All three players in our back row can play 80 minutes, or close to it; I think our focus should be on another big body who can play tighter to the ruck, to keep the momentum that Paulo and RCG create.

Completely agree about our pack. Just to be clear not to replace any of the starters but to add to our bench. Look at the Roosters they have soooooo much depth and don't lose much even when they have 1 or 2 of the starting pack out. When you have Isaac Liu, Aubusson, Collins on the bench you're not losing much if they start or when they come on.

Elliott would be a good benchy. Can play middle or edge, can handle starting and playing good minutes in the event of injury. Just a good honest player with a bit of skill.

We all know how hard you can go Ram. It would be a certain sweetener to get the deal done.
