Elliott would be a good benchy. Can play middle or edge, can handle starting and playing good minutes in the event of injury. Just a good honest player with a bit of skill.

Do you think you would get him for less the $800+ big ones? The Dogs would already have him as probably their second highest paid player on around $600-700K. Good luck with that one. Remember they were in salary strife so he wouldn't be on peanuts and being in the 2 or 3 best players in their team each week, they wouldn't be looking to lose him or short changing his salary.

I would guess that they may readjust many of their squads earnings over the next year or two, but I doubt that he would be one that would be taking a hit. And why would he leave there to become a benchy here, when he is the main man there?

We need to be looking for the player that is looking for an opportunity stuck behind others or a youngy future quality player or an established quality first grader looking for a better team to play in or David Fifita.

Oh and hopefully our bench is Segeyaro, Evans, Kafusi, and Niakuore very soon.

Merkins, they were saying on NRL Tonight that we are still on the lookout for a 14, now that Segayaro isn’t available.

Does that mean that we need to secure a rake by 30 June or has that date been waived because covid ?

I have not been able to find any literature indicating that the June 30 deadline has been waived - but I suppose it would be reasonable to assume that, given the disruptions to the season thus far, that an extension could be sought, and easily granted...but that's just common sense, and the NRL has been historically lacking in that department...

Not when he gets suspended every couple of weeks.

And there is a 13 from NQ that is better than Brown.

Ok bar Tomololololo...

Yeo, Brown,Funacane, Murray,Radley and Arrow are at a simmilar level.
I'd maybe consider Yeo just ahead of the pack based on this season's form. But Brown is a better leader and far more aggressive then any of those mentioned. He just brings more energy

Jai Arrow is a perfect warning for Fifita. Was one of the best forwards around couple of years back. He’s a Gus Cream Pie himself at the moment

He's clearly phoning it in.

Interesting to see how he goes at Souths. While a lock is basically an extra prop, I'm not sure being a good lock automatically makes you a good prop and Arrow and Murray both fit that mould for me. Smaller middles who are excellent playing big minutes at lock, but prop?
