Not if the Panthers have agreed to a percentage-of-cap clause for those two.
Correct. No manager will allow his client to sign such a lengthy contract without clauses in place allowing for things such as cap increases.

The players will be covered. I am talking more in regard to the club - it's usually ended in clubs being hamstrung due to loss of form or injury. Anyway, good luck to them. They are exciting players just believe it's a gamble.

I believe that the NRL are not allowing so-called "ratchet-clauses" to be inserted into NRL contracts at the present time, whereby if the salary cap goes up the players salary goes up by a certain percentage.

Talented players but how many clubs have been burnt by five season deals in the past....

Three years max is as far as you want to go with any player IMO.
On massive unders...Moylan is best playmaker now in game.People forget he has had about same amount of first grade as mitch moses.Rapid rise. 600k odd a year.Duke knows some tricks from roosters days.
Cartwrights more a risk thou as could be a mateo rather then a sbw.
Would i swap Moylan for Norman? Hmm. Tough one.I maybe bias but considering age they have to be the best out there dont they??

If the club and player agree he will be worth X% of the cap in Y years I don't see the risk. The major one is loss of ability through injury, where the player isn't hampered enough to retire.

What's it got to do with the NRL? They're the ones dragging arse on the future of the salary cap. Clubs need to constantly be looking to the future. Five year plans (and most other numbers of years) are a real thing for NRL clubs.

Ok so I got a tip off today of a possible signing which I'm going to offer 1 clue a day until it becomes public.... 1st clue.

Josh Hoffman may well be a done deal but there's another in the pipeline.

PS no private or text messages I want to see how long it will take for someone to get it.

Absolute stab in the dark but we are not looking at Ryan Hoffman as well. Arthur would know him from his Melbourne days but i would assume he is locked in at Warriors.

There the ones that determine whether or not an NRL contract can be registered, so it's got a bit to do with them.

Take it up with Todd mate...I'm just the messenger

Sorry, but best playmaker in the game?

Moylan isn't fit to lick Thurston's boots.

Thurston does it at the highest level; Moylan was pants in Origin.
