Well BA won 75% of his 20 rounds last year and has won 75% of his rounds this year. You expect what ?

I expect us to challenge the top sides when it really matters, he’s done a good job of making us competitive but now we need more. We are in our premiership window and being just competitive isn’t good enough anymore. Having competent quality staff will go a long way doing that. If you think Kidwell and Murphy would be good enough for any of the top coaches you are being ignorant. At least the new South’s coach isn’t afraid to surround himself with quality people.

Melbourne with a few out and just 2 games into life after Cameron Smith. I thought we were great that game but haven’t come close since. Why can’t we consistently play like this every week???

You bother, because you've got to be in it to win it.

You give it a shot and hope that the footy gods are on your side. You're placing way too much importance (obsessed actually) on assistant coaches when the realty is that winning a comp takes a lot of luck to get your best team on the paddock fit. Everyone LOLS at our "early exit" last year vs Souths, however ignore the fact that our backline was Gutho, Gennings, Taka, Waqa, Dunster. We lost our two big wingers plus lost Mennings on the morning of the game. A perfect example of how you need luck to win the games at the end of the year. But yeah excuses excuses BA is bald etc.

Be interesting to go back and look at those teams that went from being meh halfway into season to being in GF.
