Reckon there has been about 10 text messages sent through already from Parramatta fans either unhappy or just taking the mickey out of the club's recruitment policy that we must be building an age care home outside the stadium.

Do you not think we need more experience in the squad? The only 200 game player we had this year was Ferguson and he's gone. We would have the least experienced leadership group in the NRL.

100 games is experienced. That generaly takes 4.5yrs to reach.

How many of those do we have?

Depends on the position for mine, 100 games for for a player making decisions on near every play is different from 100 games for a player who rarely does.

Yes Simonsson 3 yrs coming along with Hodgson (wtf!) 2 yrs. Raiders paying some freight for Simonsson for 2 yrs but Hodgson must be cheap, (hopefully) probably just backup for the young guys we've bought.

He was on 800k. He was at one point the best hooker in the game. I don't think he'd be on less then 300k. But closer to 400k is my guess.

So tiresome, so much wasted energy repeating the same narrative. Been involved in rugby league for along, long time and if you don’t win the forward battle , you can’t win. Even Gibson had to find muscle in the middle , and that was with the backline of the 80s.

One coach calls it chasing the collision, and you can’t help yourself. Why do you think Uncle Wayne played the Burgesses and smashed it up the middle, same idea . Find another way to complain and whinge, then again that wouldn’t be you

When we don’t re-sign Paulo it’s because he’s going to be past it in a few years. When we sign old man Hodgson it’s because he’s experienced.

When we don’t re-sign Mahoney it’s because he has shoulder issues which might hamper his career. Then we sign Hodgson who has knee issues and it doesn’t matter even though that’s one of the reasons why the Raiders are fine with him leaving.

There are mental gymnastics for all positions.

Maybe Mahoney $650 over 4 years is a higher risk than reported 350-400 over 2 years for Hodgson. Additionally maybe Ennis assisted in Canberra players coming across?

Yawn!! Everyone knows you have to win the forward battle, well duh!! But when the power game is plan A and there is no plan B that’s when the problems arise.

Guys like Cronk and Ennis said repeatedly Parra have to show more than just their power game. We can’t win it every single week and soon as someone matches our effort areas will fail miserably. It’s the main reason why we continually falter at week 2.

But you go on and wave your BA Pom poms we all know you are biased and your opinion is clouded. I’m just a fat, lazy miserable fan who just has his opinion and not much else.
