Because we got kicked out after round 9 for breaching the cap.

Our defence in the first 9 weeks of 2016 was premiership standard i remember we had 3 games against the Dogs, Tigers and Manly where our goal line defence was the best its ever been under BA.
We defended set after set on our own tryline against all 3 teams and ran away with a victory in the last 20 mins.

Even Beau Scott ran down tommy turbo.

I don't know if you saw any reserve grade but I saw 2 games and Rankin was easily our best player in both those games and Jake was totally ordinary in the 2 reserve grade games I saw.
