TheRam is a guy who talks about players not being "the answer" as though there's a single person out there who would be "the answer" to us not being genuine premiership favourites. The only people who would do anything close to that for us are Politis and Crowe, and I don't think we can offer anything they would want.

I think the club should recruit "powerful" fans.
Eg, Bindy and Bob Irwin should be treated like royalty and flown to games etc (their dad was an Eels fan). So on and so forth. I cant think of any other good examples.

But he's only a bub, so we can expect some inconstency.

He's as much a middle forward as anything else. Nikora is pretty much a pure edge forward.

Wouldn't be my pick to chase but what do I know? My preferred is a player like Koloamatangi at Souths and Olaka'uatu at Manly, they are big and powerful which Nikora is not. We'll have a large war chest once all our edge players leave next year, including Matterson apparently, so could make an offer for any outstanding edge forward. Apparently the Cows have a few good ones coming thru and maybe one of those could be a better proposition.

Their effort last week was similar to our first at Bankwest plus new coach etc. Highly emotional. Great potential though. Its early for Sharkies and we all know winning early games is of no value whatsoever. After round 10 is where its at dude.

He's got speed.

He defends exceptionally well, at arguably the most difficult position in which to defend.

Why? Marata was probably on 250k same as Kafusi when they signed. Papali'i 150k . Stone minimum. Mahoney was probably on less the the 400k we blew on that old guy with broken knees.
Matterson would be the only guy where we may have money to upgrade.
Papa, Kafusi,Stones,Mahoney money would of been spent on Makatoa,Ogden,Rodwell, Hodgson.

Maybe have 100k -150k spare from the 4.

Reports were Matto is on $500k. Do you think he is worth more Hindy? Im not sure I do. Like you, Id be surprised if hes here next year. Regardless, there must not be much interest in him even at his current wage. When does his Doctors Certificate expire?

Sorry. I meant by not signing Matterson we may have money to upgrade. I read he was on 550k. I reckon he is a 350k-400k player.
