Imo the way NRL is going its following NFL in a way as far as strategy. There will be guys who are not starting NFL QB's. But its such an important position you carry a solid one in your squad. And one who will learn the system and is happy to always be a back up.

I feel like being such an important position that having a guy costing about 200k in NSW cup who is happy to learn the system and his role. Fill in when needed is great to have. Amd if kept him in the same system for 5yrs or more he would be able to come in and out of the side at short notice and perform.

If we want to move forward and evolve I think rather then just using NSW cup to find the next NRL star having one of your halves spot open for a guy who fits the role I mentioned. And not a journeymen. A kid who just isn't NRL LEVEL but can learn the system and do his job when needed.

Absolutely. Players 18-20 in your squad need to be significantly better than player 30. If they are on double the minimum salary it's still f**k all compared to the stars who might be on ten times the minimum.

One of the blokes on the TCT podcast was saying Lui was playing pretty well. Exceeding his expectations. I haven’t seen him myself but i would like to watch him maybe at Kellyville in the near future, to see for myself.

His running game is on show in some of the highlights videos on nswrl.com.au. He can move, but so can plenty of blokes who never play first grade.

Will definitely affect how much we can spend on middle forwards. It's why we've locked up some cheap nuffies for a few years. Guys like Rodwell will regularly get 20 minutes off the bench starting 2023.

Ogden,Rodwell,Hollis,Makatoa,Grieg.... It is possible one of them becomes better then Kafusi.

I lost $20. Nearly got paid though. Actually the only time I haven't bet against us this year was the Sharks game. So I'm down $140 total (because I had $80 on the Storm). Hopefully I finish the year in the red because I've made money every year since 2017.
