Im really looking forward to TLT tomorrow. So many possibilities.
Are Marata and Jake back and if so what grade will they play?
Do we get good news on Waqa?
Will Oggy be back after missing last week?
Will Dantoray be back after also missing last week?
If Waqa is out how will the backline be structured?
Hopefully a timeframe for when Russell returns?
Will Rein retain his spot after his 20 minute hit out?
Has BA lost faith in Cartys D after 2 try conceeding efforts in consecutive weeks?
If Junior is suspended who gets his spot and as a consequence what will the bench make up be?
Will Lane be back and if so does he start or on the bench?
If Lane returns on the bench will BA play him in the middle again?
Im so looking forward to next Monday. Should be a great day. Gee I hope the 2s and 3s are playing at Commbank this coming round.
Go you Magnificent Eels.

It would be harsh to drop Carty, for letting a try in, when he was defending in the centres, imo.

He's a back-rower, who can do a job in the centres, but is not a natural centre.

Neither is Niukore, imo.

But gee, I'll be glad to see Niukore back.

He is also not the first player to get trampled by David Fifita and wont be the last.
Pretty sure Matterson was also steamrolled by him in that try

You've taken his selection for that one game out of context and are ignoring alternatives available to the coach that week.

That week he wanted cover for an injury in the backs and chose Jake.

His options were Opacic or Carty. Other options would be rookies Perham, Naiduki or Rankin. I know that many have said that it should have been Carty, but he had shown since then that defending at centre is not his forte. Picking anyone probably means a reshuffle so I don't get why everyone is so amped.

They had Blake as cover for wing. Russell as cover for FB, Brown as cover for Centre and Jake as cover for 6/7. Gutho as cover for 6.

Last year Will Smith was on the bench 17 times as cover. Dunster was used twice when he was unavailable (broken hand).

Exactly. He was there as injury cover and if you get an injury you can expect a reshuffle if you don't have a player on the bench who can cover the exact position that was injured. We've lost a bunch of wingers this year. Should we have had a winger on the bench? Just bring on whomever is next up on the bench and reshuffle where necessary.

Cartwright sometimes refuses to get his body in front, something even Moses and Arthur do. They might get trampled or thrown aside but they slow the man down enough that a tackle break doesn't usually lead to a linebreak.

Horse hockey.
Then please explain why Jake took over the kicking. This wasnt planned? He basically moved to halfback. My opinion is that he was always coming on and the reshuffle was always going to happen regardless of injury such as it did in the trial match without an injury. Ffs BA was talking up how he wanted to expose Drown to Center and Fullback. Dead set you ppl live in fantasy land. How was that @hineyrulz ? 😁

Anyone playing NSW cup won’t be intimidated by 125kg forwards running at them…. they may get smashed but they will have a crack…no way do they get to that level being scared of the big boys…

Cartwright says hi...

JA also tackles better than most halves in the NRL..
