Why would Jake be offered to The Storm. Thats a head scratcher.
. Is it because hes not good enough. Surely not if hes displaced our in form 5/8?
. Is it because we are unable to develop him into the player he could be?
. Is it because BA knows Bellamy will teach him the skills required that he cant?
. Is his presence creating an uneasiness within the playing group.
. Is it a way to take pressure off BA.
. Would it be part of the plan to have him return after being Bellyached?
. Would Bellamy want him?
As I said, its a bit of a head scratcher.
Yes it is weird, and possibly bullshit. However when a player is offered to a particular club it's not his current club making the offer (if they want to get rid of a player they wouldn't limit where he goes), instead it would mean the player and his manager have contacted the other club about joining when his contract expires, or even sooner if his current club has told him he's free to look around.

He certainly has hopeless friends out there. He provides us so much, his kicking and running game.

what have rheed and Gutho done this season?

I’m not sure Moses is the issue. But when you have a cheeky, quick and smart hooker, NOT playing to his strengths, I believe the rest of the team will suffer.

we really need Rheed to start creating chances with his running game. We’re too one dimensional and it starts with him, not Moses.
He needs his forwards to win for those opportunities to come up, like last week when we rolled the Knights and Mahoney got a bunch of LBAs.

Id suggest a loan arrangement for a year until BA can squeeze Moses or Dyl out. Did I really say that? Lol.

Agree Moses has struggled to consistently convert field position into points over a few seasons now. Though while Moses is expected to drive those point scoring opportunities, he shouldn't be alone - there's a spine for good reason, to make things less perdicatable and less easy for the other team to shut down by targeting a sole playmaker.

Moving our first choice 6 out of the spine to centre has flow ons to that menu of attacking options - Brown wasn't as much an option closer to the middle (as he had to keep structure), Mahoney was more limited in his choices, Gutherson was less effective chiming in.

Cowboys spine of nuffies comprehensovely out performed our spine containing 75% first choice options - but the removal of the 25% has more than a 25% impact on our attack and potential pointscoring.
Imagine the score if Drown had played 6 last week!

The Cowboys spine played better last night because their forwards did. No other reason. They also threw only 71 passes while ours combined for 86 passes (49% vs 51% possession). They won because they were patient and ground us down, while we frantically tried to get the ball to the edges. When we play well our halves don't throw that many passes. The week before against the Knights they threw only 67 passes despite having 59% possession. Whether we had a plan to shift the ball so much or our leaders failed to take control we don't know. But last night we definitely went away from what worked the week before, and Arthur/Drown were in the same positions for both games.

But I'm not in an "argument"... I'm on a footy fan forum.

And to make a judgement on one game, I only need that one game. I said the Cowboys spine outplayed the Eels spine last night, period.

Now where's that quoted post about you needing a break from the forum....
