Let's hope D.Brown can land himself a big fat juicy contract elsewhere. He has been developed now and its time to go.

Why do we need to sign top liners?

Papa / Marata were hardly “top liners” when we signed them …….but yes Matterson was ..

Who is to say we don’t find another Marata / Papa? We are signing the panthers forward in a more “developed” stage then when we got Marata….while Matterson was a late season signing for the following year.

I feel Mattersons been underwhelming most of his time here. His last 6 weeks has been brilliant. But still a head knock away from possible retirement. Id like him to stay but its hard to forget his last 2 yrs

I thought he was pretty good on an edge in 2020, last year was ruined to Cowfusi taking off his head. He's shown what he can do once he was moved to the middle. Which was where he played his best footy for the Tigers.

Mattersons had a bit of a lame career. Rooster then Tigers, kicks up a stink and leaves and comes here. No loyalty. Than takes off to a shit club for money.
He will only be seen as a money chaser who I feel most coaches never seemed to like that much.

I seriously believe the people in charge couldn't give a shit if we win a GF, as long as we are competitive and they sell enough memberships to a loyal fanbase that makes the club profitable. They are not willing to do what it takes to get us to the next level. Otherwise a bum like Murphy would not be here.
