Don't think it's controversial at all. Reed is having an okay season but not a excellent season that justifies the 700k the dogs are paying.

He has been jumped by Ben Hunt as the preferred number 9 for Queensland, Harry Grant is 2nd fiddle and didn't make the 22 man squad even with Harry grant under a possible injury cloud shows reed has fallen away from 12 months ago.

He would want to lift his output otherwise the Dogs fans will be hating him more then what we do next year with the money they are paying him.

They are decent stats in an ordinary team, I think couple of years ago, yes, not so much now
