rheed is a huge loss. Had we gone in early maybe we could of enticed him To stay for 600-650.

Wouldn’t want to be paying him that much based on this year’s form.

Isn’t he starting for Canberra at the moment, keeping Starling on the bench?

While they are trying to get Starling to become an 80 minutes dummy half. At the moment he is an explosive 14, they want to see if he can become more durable but still threatening 60-80 minutes player. Time will tell though. It can go either way.

As for Zac he is a handy but nothing more then an average dummy half. Can get the job done but not high quality at anything. He is probably coming into his best years right now and has an all round game. Good player to have around at that $150Kish price point.

His best selling point this season has been his 6 TA's from 8 appearances as opposed to Mahoney's for example who has 3 from 12 appearances. But he runs even less then Mahoney. Way less.

Anyway, I said weeks ago that the hottest coach on the market would be BA if we sacked him. I stand by that as there would literally be a dozen clubs who would move heaven n earth to get him.

The bulldogs are in a real world of hurt and I’m enjoying it. Ciraldo was their number 1 choice and he has reportedly rejected them and is waiting for the perfect job. (I reckon it’s us).

The stuff I’ve heard about what’s happening at the Dogs defies belief. Make your own assumptions.

What a shit club they’ve turned into.

It is being reported that Ciraldo is interested and willing to go to the Tigers, so we may never get the chance. He is a development style of coach and he probably sees that the Tigers have a great nursery and now a decent spine to work with, plus the stable hand and decent eye of Tim Sheens to work with so sees good things happening from here on in at Tigertown. It would be the dream team I suggested on here a little while back. Oh well, we have BA I suppose. Hooray!

On their juniors, apparently Tim Sheens has been reported to say that they are the best group of juniors he has seen coming through in 20+ years at the club. If so we should be scouting them and strategically targeting one or two of them, especially if any of the standouts play in positions that we need bolstering. Back rowers, front rower, centres, wingers or hookers. These are the sorts of players we should be targeting, not dads army if the rumours are right.

The Tigers right now would be the easiest club that we as their more dominate and currently successful neighbour could entice and persuade their young talented players to jump ship too. Before they get a decent coach and become a much more desirable place to be at. We seem, from next year, to be on the decline.

I've never been a fan of Frizzell, tbh - but one thing he would definitely bring to the table is big match experience.

We could use more of that - more experienced campaigners are likely to help keep the team's heads cool when momentum is wrestled away from us during a match.
