Yeah I haven't actually heard a lot of praise about his coaching. Other than people saying he got us through the salary cap stuff but no one cares about that. I do think there's a good chance he will end up at a weak club but it's not certain.

Doesn't he still have 2 years left after this year? If we sack him, depending on the terms in his payout clause it could cost us between 600-800K.... Under-resourced cash-strapped clubs like ours can't afford that!!

Can't help but be a tad skeptical myself, no one else has picked it up on Twitter and normally they'd be all over gossip like this.

Well they would know his times probably up end of 2023. And plenty of clubs looking for coaches atm. End of next season who is going to be looking? If we bomb out fast this year and fail next he will be sacked. All the weak sides will move on this season from their coach.

I am sure that there was an article when he signed the most recent extension suggesting there was a provision for only a limited payout if he left before the contract was up. And of course, if he resigns to take another job, there surely wouldn’t be any payout.
