Mate the seasons over...It's all sh*t and giggles from here on in.
Well yeah but if the mishandling of that issue was a contributer to the season being derailed, then someone needs a foot in their arse. Allaned by a foot, if you will.

Mate our problems are way worse then singling out our more then decent half back. He isn't Andrew Johns that can play off the back foot. He is a half that needs the team to be going well for him to shine. You know like every other half in the competition in the game at this point in time. Even the great Cleary, supposed future immortal, plays like crap when the players around him aren't doing their job.

You are jumping at the wrong shadow.

I would not be comparing Cleary to Moses.

Last week Panthers down by 10 Cleary takes control handling the ball more and kicking to corners.
Moses doesn't get involved when.we were behind and touched the ball 44 times. Brown 68.

Moses could be a million dollar.half but he isn't.

The Shadow that is getting paid the most probably deserves to be under the spotlight more than anyone else.

Especially when his involvement is less than alot of other halves in the competition.

Lol like the players threw their arse in the corner Thursday night??? Says the bloke who threw his arse in the corner to support Can-Brrrrrrrrra because his mate got rissoled from the CEO’s job. Hypocrite!!

And if you think we aren’t done for the season I’ve got a nice shiny bridge to sell you.
You chucked your arse in the corner long time ago..Don't know why you bother.

I've no idea, but "successful harbour city club" effectively rules us out...

I didn't read it that way. I read it that he wants to play for a successful Sydney club in the harbour city. The last time I checked we were still considered part of Sydney.

The successful part might be a bridge to far for us though.

Mate there is a list longer then a toilet roll of cockups that this club keeps repeating and the coach is part of that. In fact that toilet roll is on its 2nd or 3rd reuse and we have a whopping dirty arse hole that reeks worse then a portaloo because of it.

Moses isn't our 'halfback', he is our 'five-eighth'. Drown even referred to himself as the halfback in an interview with Benji. This is why Drown gets more touches, and throws more passes than Moses, nearly every week. But merkins can be forgiven for thinking Moses is the halfback because he wears 7 and does most of our kicking.

That's what I was trying to use my subtlety to convey haha

I am not comparing Cleary to Moses. All I am saying is all halves can look ordinary if his team is playing like crap.

A huge difference though with the Panthers is that if Cleary does decide to take it upon himself to spark the team up if they are playing below par, the Panthers are such a well drilled team that all he has to do is start to voice his intention and authority and demand curtain plays and or ball and the rest of them will quickly fall into shape and structure like auto pilot. They have the game plan.

We only have one style and that is plow forward and win the collision. If that isn't happening, then the players including Moses wouldn't have a clue what else to do. We have one game plan. There is no plan B. If we aren't dominating for whatever reason, don't expect Moses or anyone else to go outside of structure with any great success. It just won't happen unless the other team start to falter themselves and allow us to regain the ascendency.

We are cooked. Our big powerful players are burnt out and now losing the collision more often then not, with the occasional spritely moment here and there. I warned everyone that this was going to happen and I am amazed that it has taken around 2 and a bit seasons to finally be plainly obvious. The writing was on the wall mid to late last season when we had that woeful dip in form, but recovered in the semis enough to put up a fight against a very ordinary NC and a very decent showing against the Panthers.

I feel though if we had beaten the Panthers in that game we would have been cooked for the next game and got hammered.

But take it from me, the robotic no frills footy that we play and could put the energizer bunny to sleep, has claimed it biggest scalp...us.

The coach now must sound like Charlie Browns teacher and driving many of the players insane. All the players are getting from our coach now is tension and pressure and as a club we have rarely reacted well to that. Add the massive expectation of a premiership window from fans and the media and it will only get worse as the losses start to pile up.

We are done.

The question I am now eagerly waiting to see answered is what the 'F' are our club's overlords going to do about it and in particular are they going to do what we all know is well and truly overdue quickly enough to minimise any further damage and while we are still considered, to the better applicants, an attractive proposition?

Something tells me it is going to be a well drawn out and messy soap opera that we can't afford to have.
