He is young enough that at his level of ability he is better off getting limited opportunities in a decent squad.

Why any other club? Which clubs dont have better halves options? Newcastle maybe? ... he is still 19 ... he is likely to only get a 1 yr deal ahywhere .... i dont think Riccio was suggesting he is in good demand as likely NRL player, they would want him as depth

You would think and yet not many are all that confident. Speaks volumes about our coach who has been tinkering with this roster for nearly a decade and still can't get them to be a top 3 defensive team, let alone win the damn thing.

We have been a top three defensive team during Arthur’s tenure, in 2020. Last year we only conceded four more points than the third best defensive side. The problem was that the best defensive side (who won the comp and beat us by two in the finals) conceded 167 fewer points than the third best defensive side (171 fewer than us) who they beat in the grand final. Penrith were miles better than Souths or us or anyone else bar Melbourne. But all of Penrith's opponents made a game of it in the finals. This is what we hang our hopes on.

He would NOT have been my preferred option to sign for the reasons I have already explained, but since we have decided that he is, to then see a rival club swoop in at the 11th hour and sign him is embarrassing. He is OK a signing but not who I would have picked especially considering the late timing that gives us so little time to haggle and get it done.

The real point is, that we are also in a position where we can't afford to lose. Missing Tommy Trbo hurts them considerably more. We have a better squad than them. The fact that a lot of people, including myself, probably can't see us winning is the real issue here. We just have to win though. We're just making excuses if we get beaten. It's time everyone in the joint stood up and delivered.

We are coming off a win and they are coming off a loss, so their motivation could be higher. And playing at home they are likely to get away with more grubby shit. Expect them to be offside for 80 minutes. We'll win the penalty count, but not by as much as we should.

If we bring our power game we can't be beaten. We should run over the top of most teams with our forward pack, with or without Moses.

As long as our pack is doing more running and less tackling. Paulo made 18 runs and 14 tackles against Penrith ffs. He thrives in that situation. But a big part of controlling the ball is the kicking game. Cherry-Evans is a much better kicker than any combination of merkins we can put on the field this weekend.

Well it's been all over media Storm are hoping to land 2 more before deadline. I'm sure NRL will make a special compensation rule for them.

Jurnos contacting other clubs to get a different angle on the Jake Drama. Pose the question " is he a player you'd consider"? Of cause they say. Ffs I dont believe a word of it. The pr*cks still havent worked out they are booing his Dad not him but lets sensationalise it to get clicks and creat drama.
