JFH, Leota, Leniu, Kikau, Martin,Yeo. Yeah mate, lightweight pack of toilers. Most of our pack are current Internationals you flip. Toilers.I think their defensive strength comes from a lightweight pack full of toilers and two strong defensive halves. That's been Melbourne's strategy over the years as well.
Either is Kikau or Yeo..Welsch and bromwich aren't really small
Every team needs toilers, including rep teams. The only big forward out of that lot is Kikau.JFH, Leota, Leniu, Kikau, Martin,Yeo. Yeah mate, lightweight pack of toilers. Most of our pack are current Internationals you flip. Toilers.
Not big either. They are both fairly light for their height. Big forwards start at about 115kg. 110kg is the upper end of average, I reckon.Welsch and bromwich aren't really small
It's an interesting TPA with the car, although I think cars are allowed under the cap anyway so may not be a TPA, but if it was a TPA, the car company can't really take the car off him if he leaves, as I would say that would be against the 'inducement to play for a particular club' under the TPA rules.
Of course it doesn't have to be, but you'd think it's a better fit than with say the Dogs or Tigers. Why does a bmw dealership in parramatta have to be associated with the eels .... maybe its part of his enticement to the wests tigers? .... or maybe its just part of whatever was agreed for 2023
Oh, man - who knew that my mock best man speech of Jerome Luai would actually be pretty close to the mark???
What utter bollocks and nonsense, on all fronts. No that's tactics. Strategies are more long term and based on constants over that period. In this case your strengths are a constant while opposition weaknesses are not.
Yeah, that's the point... Gould only "predicted" what everyone else was in full agreement about anyway. And this time he managed to nominate a rough margin - hope Gould picked up a motza for his effort on Footytab! He predicted we'd beat the Cowboys and also predicted Penrith to score 4+ and for us to score no more than two. Obviously everyone predicted Penrith to win, they were a much better team. They were paying about $1.37 ffs
YOU ARE!What utter bollocks and nonsense, on all fronts.
It wasn’t a rough margin, it was the minimum number of tries they would score and the maximum we would score. He also predicted we’d beat the Cowboys, which was far from certain. But most important was his claim that the Townsville weather would hamper us the following week. What possible reason would he have to say that if it wasn’t true? And why did we look so fatigued early in the game where we hadn’t in the weeks leading up to it?Yeah, that's the point... Gould only "predicted" what everyone else was in full agreement about anyway. And this time he managed to nominate a rough margin - hope Gould picked up a motza for his effort on Footytab!
I think 99% of ppl were predicting the heat and effort V The Cows would have an impact considering how little our use of our bench. Ive missed Poos point entirely but no doubt he will hang in.You're typing like Gould predicted something that wasn't just entirely logical and widely also predicted/considered by the masses - your quoted betting odds proof in point.

Imagine how many premierships we would have won in this era with our “too small” 2018 side. (In all seriousness though I googled the comparative weights of our side with Riffs and you appear to be right). The loss of Jennings and the rapid decline of Nathan Brown and Ferguson really hurt us in the end. Very unfortunate timing. If you put 2019 Ferguson and 2020 Jennings and Brown in our grand final side then we would have been a much better side. In saying that being lighter doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a better defender. Papali’i is on the smaller side and he was a weak defender.Every team needs toilers, including rep teams. The only big forward out of that lot is Kikau.
Ok mate, so because you reckon one thing it is right then? I tend to think anyone over 100kg who run as hard as they do and built like a brick shithouse is pretty big in my opinion. Not big either. They are both fairly light for their height. Big forwards start at about 115kg. 110kg is the upper end of average, I reckon.
I don’t think he’s saying anything bad about Penrith. He’s just pointing out that the Penrith forwards are lighter than the Parramatta forwards overall and that their build and body types makes them better suited to high intensity defensive efforts. If you compare the numbers it’s hard to argue with the point. Paulo and RCG are listed at 123kg and 115kg respectively whilst JFH and Leota are 103kg and 107kg.Ok mate, so because you reckon one thing it is right then? I tend to think anyone over 100kg who run as hard as they do and built like a brick shithouse is pretty big in my opinion.
They are big compared to you you scrawny wimp, do you even lift bro???Ok mate, so because you reckon one thing it is right then? I tend to think anyone over 100kg who run as hard as they do and built like a brick shithouse is pretty big in my opinion.
You keep dodging the point about the delayed impact of Townsville’s weather. I’ll take it as point conceded. You're typing like Gould predicted something that wasn't just entirely logical and widely also predicted/considered by the masses - your quoted betting odds proof in point.

Well we beat plenty of teams down the back end of the year using the exact same strategy of long minutes from our best forwards. If it didn’t hurt us in those games why would it suddenly become a problem in the grand final?I think 99% of ppl were predicting the heat and effort V The Cows would have an impact considering how little our use of our bench. Ive missed Poos point entirely but no doubt he will hang in.
Im also confused how Our Poo argues against players playing less minutes then argues fatigue when travel and different conditions are in play. Maybe its me. Its a bugger getting old.
