Penisini will be a top 5 center by the end of this year. He's playing for a contract, players always step up when it's time to get paid. Look at Dylbro, Gutho, and Matto.

What's so good about Penisini? He's a little better than Opacic imo, great defender but hasn't set the world on fire in attack.

In the year he turned 20 he was 24th in the NRL for tackle breaks. He is a massive talent. He is still eligible for Flegg next year ffs

Agree. Has potential, and is only young... but to me isn't someone currently that wouldn't be displaced if we sign a better centre. (Although we'd have to sign a second better centre for Penisini to lose his spot, since we let Opacic go without replacement...)

The point is Penisini is good enough that you wouldn't sign a better centre to displace him (or two centres, as you say). It would be a waste of cap space.

Haha. Laughable. The guy is as strong as a bull and 19. Will get even stronger. He also has a lovely little kick on him and flick pass.
Opacic could defend but was weak and slow in attack.

Dunster played at 95kgs. But could be around 100kgs now

- forced 2 dropouts
- put on 6 try assists
- made 9 linebreaks
- made 542 tackles, missing only 58 (90% efficiency in the hardest defensive position on the pitch)
- run for 3,620m (average of 110m per game)

Not bad at all for a 20-year old.

Russel would be more then that now. He has had another offseason. That's when they bulk up. He was far to thin before to be any good.
Be interesting to see how much muscle he has put on.

I think they just keep the stats they had when the profile was put up. In that case Dunster’s would be more out of date, and therefore less reliable.

He’s very average. His speed is non existent, doesn’t really break any tackles. Nothing special about his game apart from he’s a reserve grader. To sum him up , he’s very Jake Arthur.

We signed him to 2027 IIRC. Squad player like Jake. Stocking filler if you want a Xmas reference. Sometimes they come good like Ray Stone, but mostly not.
