No. I think due to it being an injury. While mental health is seen as outside of the clubs side of things. I am not 100% but I assume Saints would of been also compensated for De Bellin being wrongly stood down.
You missed the post above mine that says Dogs got dispensation because Luke Thompson suffered an injury at training... nothing to do with Chrighton.

They did? Gus pulling strings. NRL want the bulldogs and tigers to get strong. They need footy stron in Western suburbs. Watch them start getting favours like we did in last few years.

Strangest deathride since Parra Pete and Dan Ginnane

In my opinion Moses' comments about settling his future prior to round 1 kick off were simply a ploy to put pressure on Parra to bend over.

It'll work too because parra fans will be banging on today and tomorrow about the deal not being done. Which is going to put our board under a bit of pressure. Media will also no doubt call us a failure etc. as a result.

Big announcement later today.

#gutfeel

Actually there could be 2.
But seriously, I don’t think there’ll be 2, unless we’ve made a late splash. More likely someone has been upgraded and it might eventually filter through at some point in season.

I think a bit of respect needs to be shown to the recruitment team for how they’ve gone so far. If it is a ploy to get more money, some trust needs to be given to club that the impact will be minimalised.

I respect what they are doing.

I think its great that we have not bent over so far. The easy option is to bend over just to appease fans.

MON seems to be doing an excellent job thus far.

How well he has done will be when Moses signs on the dotted line. We can then assess the $$ and contract length to determine how well management has actually done.

I think we should pull the pin now. Moses has been good but 1.25 is silly for him. He has the best ball playing fullback in comp and a very good 5/8 taking a lot of pressure of him in attack.

Id then offer Brooks 500k for 2yrs or Toby Sexton a deal. That gives us 750k to spend on other positions. And also time to develop one of the 3 promising halves we have in Lynn,Talagi,Sanders. All seem to have good pedigree.

Our board I feel should of went 1.1 MAX and a dealine of JAN 30. The pulled offer. We have been very good to him.
