Thurston was at the cross-roads then in his career.

He only showed up at Origin time during that period.

Yes. And Jake. I don't remember ever losing 3 in a row while he was in the team.

I'd say Simmonson,Blake,Murchie have been quite poor in all games played.. Hodgson average at best.
Grieg and Moimesea barely used but offered zero.
The rest have had mixed games bar our two props, Bryce, Penisini and Sivo. Those 5 have been consistently good.

When there's so many not playing to their potential, it possibly points to a coaching issue - wouldn't you think?

Daine Laurie could be a possible option to chase and play FB.

Move Gutho to halves if Moses pisses off.

Some kids just need to get out of Tigers system to succeed before there career goes to waste.

Wouldn't surprise me if he is on the outer once he gets back from Injury with Staines starting at FB yesterday and Doueihi playing there in 2nd half when Wakeham came on.

He has speed which we clearly lack.

We'll need players in the back 5 who can make a lot more metres if Moses is not here with the ability to kick the ball long. At the moment, Moses long kicking game is the only reason we're competitive for 80 minutes.

While they aren’t the sole cause Waqa & Simonsson have been very visible weaknesses. That visibility then makes a target for opponents and the “team game” only extends so far. You can only mitigate a f**k-up, not stop the player f**king up

It could well be, however given the fact that the same coach was able to get some of the aforementioned players into a grandfinal just months ago, I am not sure the blame for individual errors like missed tackles, missed goal kicks, dropped balls, and lazy penalties can be simply lumped onto his shoulders.

Perhaps there is no single cause but rather a number of individuals (plural) having a "bad day at the office" and all for different reasons. Unfortunately in a team sport such as rugby league, when this happens at the same time for more than one person, the result is normally a loss and not a win.

So we make more errors with the ball, resulting in less completions. Ergo the opposition has more ball and we therefore need to defend more and hence increase the likelihood of a defensive error, resulting in points to the opposition?

Mmm, interesting take on things.
