Due to get his clearance next week. Then there will be a 11 day turnaround from Roosters game to Easter Monday.

As per BA in a radio interview 2 weeks ago.

Agree 100% I find it annoying when you get these rabbits who just abuse each other and use foul language without any consideration for others who are reading. It's selfish and disrespectful.

I was on it for about 6 months about 3 to 4 years ago but just gave up.

Its like someone has something positive they get abused.

If someone says something negative they get abused.

I was on it for about 6 months about 3 to 4 years ago but just gave up.

Its like someone has something positive they get abused.

The problem is, Moses could still just take up his player option for 2024 and he has until round 10 from memory to do so..
Pulling our "offer" for 2024 ($$ upgrade) and beyond won't help us secure players for 2025 (should Moses exercise his player option for season 2024 only) as we're not allowed to negotiate with anyone until after Nov 1...

If he takes up his option for next year he wont be on 1.25 he is on 950k so that frees up a fair bit to even sign someone for next year.

The issue we have is simple. Let's see if an 11yr coach can work it out on what the other sides are doing and it's clear as day.
They are copying Penrith. A side who will constantly have 5 of their backs making all the meters. Edwards and Too are always close to 200mtrs or more. The other 3 often will punch out 120-150mtrs
The forwards are working less. The days of having your two starting PROPS run for 180mtrs seen as a possitive and great effort each week is over.
You want them to be fresh. Smash in defense. Run about 120-130mtrs a game. Have the backs who defend less work harder.

BA has to sit Sivo and Waqa down and say listen. Run hard and run straight like a prop. Penisni ran with monster last game. It was great to watch. Waqa dancing around and pulling up when hits the line? That is what you drop him for not the occasional error. Sivo runs hard only 50/50
Simmonson runs sideways like a rabbit. Then makes 3mtrs, get dominated and defense smashes the next bloke hitting it up.
Yes Opacic had good defense but he was a bloody slug. His hit ups where as weak as piss. Forget Opacic and if we signed Momorski I'd give up on our recruitment team. The guys a plodder.

The games moved on from backs dancing around. You run straight and hard when you are working it out from own end with a fast play the ball. Any skips or silly steps and you drop them. How else will they learn?

Add to that Hindy, NON of our players are a student of the game. In fact our 6 makes a point of telling the world he isn't. Reece Walsh is and even tells/offers his captain Reynolds ideas and plays he thinks of to work on and use. I've been banging on about this for years. Brains win the big ones, and they use speed and brawn to do it.

I know which player I would rather in my team. We have disinterested semi professionals who like to talk big but don't do the extra homework that is necessary. I don't know, maybe the coach is to basic and doesn't encourage/demand more from them and they know it and that he wouldn't get it anyway. Something is definitely wrong. Flano is our only hope. He needs to be rushed in to fix our defense at least with a view to succeed the bald one sooner than later.

Parra man, defensive ordinated, junior focused, player centric and been there and done that with even less to work with. No gamble, just a straight swap for a better version of the next man up for our coach. A winning version that is. The cupboard is bare after him.

Don't care if Baldy doesn't like it. Not his decision. Season is all but over this coming next game.

I think Penisni is a 12yrs NRL centre but I don't think he is ever going to be elite. He would handle himself in origin fine. Just lacks the speed to be next level. He is still only 20 tho. He may not get faster but he will still get a little stronger and make better decisions. If we listed all 34 starting centres I reckon right now he would sit between 10-16.

Isn't brooksy the only reason Moses would go to that rabble is to help his mate out.

Doubt Brooks will be there if they get MM. Tigpies attack looked a lot better with Brooks and Wakeham as the halves. Doueihi appears to be a handbrake with their attack and better off at fullback or centre.

Daine Laurie could be a possible option to chase and play FB.

Move Gutho to halves if Moses pisses off.

Some kids just need to get out of Tigers system to succeed before there career goes to waste.

Wouldn't surprise me if he is on the outer once he gets back from Injury with Staines starting at FB yesterday and Doueihi playing there in 2nd half when Wakeham came on.

He has speed which we clearly lack.

Doueihi is a massive turnstile In defence, massively overrated if you ask me. People just talk him up because he looks decent compared to Puke Brooks.

I met Phil at a Club AGM when he was running it. Seems an ok guy. Looks to have gone off the rails somewhat since he moved on. I read everything but rarely, if ever, post there. Lots of testosterone.
This forum is definitely middle ground of the 3 but I enjoy reading them all.
