Whingers love problems, not solutions.
Those ‘whingers’ always said Hodgson wouldn’t be an ideal solution off the bat. Hence the problems.

could bring Beau Scott in to do some tackle practice on him (Hodgo)
Maybe you haven't had success in your endeavours. You try reminding merkins of the bleeding obvious without pissing them off ffs. It doesn't pay enough.
Did we sign Hodgson before he did his 3rd ACL?Actually, the risk was that the loss of Mahoney meant we had no NRL experienced dummy half, except for Rein.
The mitigation was Hodgson however there are often many layers to risk (and to implementing a strong mitigation) and we skipped over these and didn't mitigate the inherent risk that signing Hodgson brought.
I'd do this but leave off the bubble wrap

The plan should have been to not sign him at all. That’s how you eliminate risk not just mitigate it.
Yeah I thought you were attacking me on perceived mental health grounds and then doubled down on it. Silly me. Now I realise you were just concerned and so I'm returning the favour. You seem a bit preoccupied with other people's motivations and I don't want you to spiral. I'm looking out for you mate.
It wasn't just his injury history which should of been enough, it was the fact the new faster game doesn't even suit the way he plays the game. Let alone the way we play use our dummy halves. How was having a 34 year old off two knee reco's and expecting him just to be a tackling bag that led the line speed going to work??? I'm not the only one that thought it was a ridiculous signing especially after losing Rheed. But Huggers gunna Hug.Those ‘whingers’ always said Hodgson wouldn’t be an ideal solution off the bat. Hence the problems.
What makes the Hodgson situation even worse is that we had already signed Rein on for another year (or was it the other way around?). Simply mind boggling.
Rein was done before we signed him.
Is Rein now injured as he isn't even in the cup side....
Maybe he is the bargain basement X-Factor we are chasing.Andrew Davey back immediately. 1.5 year deal apparently.
No offence to Davey, but this is really not going to improve the squad.
Looking forward to a much improved defensive effort in the 2's next week!!Outsanding, another reserve grader.
Who?Andrew Davey back immediately. 1.5 year deal apparently.
