I remember back when Emu debuted, he was OK for 19 mins then got gassed really quick and we all said he just needs to get fitter

here we are a long time in the future and he still seems to have fitness issues, he was so gassed after about 20 mins he could hardly breathe, the camera zoomed in and the commentators commented on him standing there hands on hips

he's definitely improved but he really should be fitter than that by now

I think that was after he got hit in 2 man tackle and had the ball jolted from his control.

I think with Greig, his “lack” of fitness isn’t a physical issue, but a mental one. Sometimes he seems to get in a mood where he does a tonne of work but doesn’t look tired.

The thing is nobody’s up every week. In previous years Penrith were strong enough that they could have a shocker against a shit team and still win. Now they’re not, and the Tigers at least are better than they were last year.

Yeah with the tigers they probably should have had 3 wins by now but butchered them.

I think they are averaging around 52% possesion per week.

But have lost 3 games when they had more then 55% of ball during the match.

They had 58% last week against Manly.
56% against us and Titans in Round 1.

So they are dominating possession just not scoring.
