He played a blinder against Penrith.

Probably justifies being paid millions and millions of dollars over 10 years and never once playing a finals game?
In fact, having a 37.5% win record while playing in one of the positions most able to impact winning?

@Tiger5150 might better explain why they might hope he doesn't get paid the same way again...

The good news out of that game is that a clear hierarchy in the West has been established now.
1. Parra
2. Wests
3. Pennies

This is indisputable based on results from games played between the clubs

Do I though? Lets be real....

your post has a lot of "literally's" and "let be reals" in it, but if you are genuinely offended by me being here, why dont you take the time to literally point to a single post where I have instigated a post or a point about the Tigers. I literally only post about the Tigers in response to one of you merkins bringing them up. Im actually pretty self aware about it and try not to stink the forum up, hence the reason I posted that "we shouldnt even discuss the Tigers in the forum."

Why did I come here? I generally cant stand LU forums but like all RL fans I dabble looking for info. Tigers LU is woeful. I originally came to this forum when Moses left the Tigers because I was irate about the way he dicked us about before shafting us and I came here hoping to gloat when you guys discovered his down hill skiing and all round merkinery. Ive enjoyed the brief moments and bitten my lip as he became a really good NRL halfback that is a considerable reason for your recent success. As I was about to leave you guys to yourselves, you signed Matterson, another grade A god bothering, narcissistic, self absorbed merkin who can play a bit and hung around like a bitter ex waiting until you guys realised. The $4K fine scenario was a moment of validation. Then Contract negotiations started with Moses and I enjoyed the ride as he did to you what he did to us with a different final outcome (probably).

Why did I stay here? Well unlike my experience with Parra fans in RL, the majority of the merkins posting here seem to be good blokes with a great sense of humour, can take a joke, can laugh at themselves and have the intelligence to understand that my posts here are made in good grace, with good intentions and trying to contribute to the spirit of the forum. Ive enjoyedposting with and interacting with these merkins. These intelligent, good humoured merkins understand Im not a troll here to pull down the mighty Parra. You are not one of these merkins.

There have been a very small number of merkins here who see my name and leap all over me with no sense of humour, irony or self awareness to yell "TIGERS SUCK". These merkins have no humour, fun, finesse or medium term memory. You are one of these merkins.

Great post you hilarious merkin and congrats on last night win, loved it. First since what, the only wins tigers were having was back in Rome eating the Christians, right?

Now get out of here you Tiger Jizz-Tissue.

After we beat the Tits next week we’ll be in the 8.

And Ricky’s Raiders at 7.30pm Sat night in Canberra (!) we’ll be coming 6th after 11 rounds with 2 byes in the bank.

Of those above us Sharks, Roosters, Penrith would have already had a bye.

Do you really believe that is the way it is going to play out?

I mean it could, but no one sane would really have any confidence at all that that is what is going to happen. I mean look at what just happened to the Panthers with an inferior Pack.

The odds are we lose both games or at least one if our opponents are at full strength. Our middles bar Junior are all fringe 1st graders and more NSW Cup types. Sure they can rise and look solid playing a team that I think played worse then any other team I can recall in like what, at least 10 years? But we still had no idea how to control the game and left at least another 8-10 tries out there if a spine that didn't lose their heads and worked them over correctly would have done(bar Gutho). It's called endless extra hours training and studying the game on video and picking the brains of experts at every opportunity you get. Student of the game. Both our halves failed dismally(other then Moses kicking game) out there against the Knights.

If the Titans and or Raiders come at us with gusto and venom in the first half, they will punch that many holes in us that even if they drop off that by then the deficit will be so big that even they can't lost. The best we can hope for is one more strong effort from this weak pack and bench and we just scrape in against one of them.

Just my opinion.

I’ve watched Sualli closely of late and am really underwhelmed. He’s been absolutely garbage in Warriors game.
It’ll be interesting to see how he goes in the kick and clap game.

No, no - he is disgustingly overpaid, and ridiculously over-rated.

I was just saying that, for once, he put on a clinic.

Most over-rated player I've ever seen.

I seriously don't get the hype.

Give me Selwyn Cobbo, Reece Walsh, or Isaiya Katoa over the guy going to a walking dead sport, any day.

Overrated I agree. But also a generational talent. Remember he is only 19 and not playing in his ideal position.
I think its a shame he is lost to the game. I'm not sure how good he will be but I would have him over all 3 you mentioned if we had to go a long term fullback. Just based on his size and power.

Well mate, I think we are certainly not as good as last night presents us as, the Tits and Canberra also played shit teams (or to apply more respect, teams that have been hit with the injury stick) last night but failed to actually dominate.

I think we are a red hot chance against the Tits ( the bookies have us at the same odds to win as they do with the Sharks to win over the Dolphins). They were impressive vs Manly in the wet but TBH Manly were rudderless without Turbo and when was the last time they coukd only score the one try ?

As for Ricky’s team, you might have noted my exclamation (!) mark of concern about us playing Canberra in May on a Saturday night. Long range forcast is storms and 4 degrees. Eeek, but hey better than 36 dgrees in Darwin. We’re good enough and have more points in us that the Raiders. We have scored 70 more points already this year than them and they are only ahead of us on the table because of the bye. The Raiders had a 60/40 split in possession vs Dolphins plus completed at 90% but couldn’t shake off a bits n pieces Fins team.

Thank f**k for a long turn around this week. Gee we’ve earned it.

I don't think you realise how massive a hole RCG's injury is just yet. All those things you just said would be pertinent if he was in the team and we had our best roster(flawed ass it is) available.

We are gone.

Interesting comments from Weedler in his column today. There is a suggestion that Wighton is going to be free to contest a “boxing event” managed by Georgie Rose that will allow him to earn a few hundred grand extra meaning he doesn’t lose a cent.
An innovative way to skirt the cap if true.

Well in context, we were talking bout the next two games vs Tits and Raiders and as much as the loss of Reg is huge, I don’t think that those two teams are good enough to demand a Rnd 4 Penrith Panthers type performance to beat them.

Reg is due back vs Dolphins or after the bye vs Warriors. So we play Tits, Raiders, Bunnies, Cows, Dogs, Manly, Dolphins then Warriors. What makes you think we’re going lose most of those ? I’d say were a good chance of winning most of those.

He could likely do that if he stayed with the Raiders anyway

I hope he enjoyed the win in Auckland.

He won't be winning over there in Rugby.
