In Magic Round he was 0/7 and we told him to get off Parra in the final game as he was clearly bringing bad luck so he changed to the Titans 15 mins before kick off and managed to get 1/8.

If he stayed with Parra he would have got duck egg for the round.

Joffas a good player and great guy for culture/leadership etc off the field. I wasnt excited about his signing from brisbane but was pleasantly surprised about the player hes become. Trust me, youve got a good one. Hes not a game changer but hes better then a ''solid first grader.'' Cant believe Parra have actually signed a likable player from us, yuck.

Joe Off was let go by Brisbane because he was just a reserve grade standard player. No better than the hacks we have now plodding their way down there. Tigers bought him for a lot of $$$$ and they soon realised he was terrible.

Joffa lost his way at Brisbane due to some personal issues. He had a young daughter and his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, I think that would derail anyone. Kevin Walters told him he wasnt wanted and he personally called Maguire saying he wanted a hard nosed coach to get him back on track. He came to to the tigers, put in the work and won an origin jersey back. We clearly realised how terrible he was that we gave him a 2 year extension 4 months ago.

I have no idea why we've released him. Our squad is a bit middle forward heavy and we've got 30 so I'm assuming we have a half or a centre lined up to come in.

Has RCG had a hiccup with his rehab.

This has come out of nowhere and been sorted in 24 hours once it became public.

Who has rolled over here Tigers or Parra to have the deal sorted this quickly when it comes to freight for next 2 years.

We’ll never know. But I’m keen to see if Matterson now moves to the edge. Then we’ll know the Lane injury was a factor in this.

+1. It's about time we replaced Marata / Oregan and now Emu has stepped up, we'll have some steel in the middle (when Reg gets back that is).

We still need a centre and the kids like Blaze etc are year or two away. It's a shame Cini hasn't sorted his D out.

I like the signing. With Greig also improving we are now set for props.

He’s a lock not a prop, we already have two of those. He’s decent defensively but he’s not a metre eater or a game changer. Just a buy for the sake of it. Anything than have to bring a young bloke through. That would require coaching and we all know that’s not Bea Arthur’s job.

We call ourselves a development club but we have a coach who’s shown almost zero faith in juniors in most of his time here. Unless of course if they are from a certain club or have a certain last name……..

Yes but he’s not a prop, he barely cracks 100m a game. He’s not a metre eater and it’s not like he has great balls skills I’m not sure he improves the side in any shape way or form. He’s another decent first grader that we are paying a premium for. Yet we were happy to lowball Papaliiiii who is a game breaker. Another nothing signing for a club that’s going nowhere.

He is playing better than he did with you guys in 2022, worse than 2021. The actual answer to your question is that Papali'i in 2021 had a good halfback who could get him the ball as he was hitting a hole. At the Tigers at the moment he is getting early ball and having to a lot more grunt work.

Last two games he was really good and in every game there has been no shortage of effort. Your question implies he is a player that would have a sulk and not play to his best and I just dont see that in Ice. Do you? If so why would you want him back?
