I've been involved in coaching from 11's through to 16's and found the opposite. So many kids want to be halves. At times it's seemed like I have half a team of 6's and 7's.

We need to bring in a trade system then

What I like about BA is all the areas I feel need fixing he seems to do and all the changes I feel we need week to week he seems to make within a few weeks.
He drops favourites like Gower - Alvaro when he has better options knowing these guys aren't good enough.
Many games will be decided by a few dropped balls and penalties. I do see Canberra - Penrith - Warriors with squads that if click could dominate but big IFS. The rest of the teams are almost flip of coins week to week bar Knights.
Even the dragons will have a tough footy team.

I like the players BA has bought to the team for 2017. He has bought skilful props because our incumbent props had virtually no skills. What I would have liked was bigger forwards as Vave and Pritchard our only large forwards. Maybe 2018 he will look to bigger props.

Can't see us going for bigger props. BA likes a fast defensive line, the more big forwards (bigger than Pritchard and Vave) the slower your defensive line and that breaks down the foundation of which this squad was built.

Perhaps Arthur feels with limited interchanges being further reduced that having mobile props with bigger work ethics is more important...

I agree with the sentiment however he's only on the field for half the game. He's still club captain AFAIK, and rightfully so. I dunno who the best option is tho.

Captain only means so much these days anyway ... a team needs several blokes leading... we have legit leaders in our squad these days, not just high profile merkins

Mannah is a great club captain but not an on field one IMO, plus he plays only about 45mins these days.
