that stuff goes in all the time. The players were just trying to put Lane off his media appearance as a joke. These donkeys in the media will make you look like shit if they want to and spin it.

Any other week and this gets laughed off. I find it confusing as to why the reporter said:


Weren't they there on a regular media day, like they do every Wednesday? I'm sure Parra didn't organise press conferences with the players just so the media can grill them on Dylan Brown's alleged crimes.

I agree it's not an integrity issue. Post game interviews I'm fine with it all, but being childish during these type of media conferences where the media are there to ask questions is just unprofessional.

The NRL should just ring the club (or any club that does the same) and tell them to get their players to pull their heads in and grow the f**k up.

Gutho and the Eels media manager did that already. It says it in the article. No need for the NRL to get involved at all.
The media has spotted an occasion where the Eels are down and they are just trying to get a few kicks in while they can.

Penrith lads can do no wrong in her eyes and Parra are just childish.

It is funny how she has been caught out when I messaged into Vossy show last year why does she hate parra and she went on a bizarre rant.

The joint is lacking discipline. This is obvious. The fact that our second highest paid player was even night clubbing during the bye round when the players collectively made a pledge to lay low tells me many things.

It tells me that familiarity with our senior leadership including the coach who is about to break Brian Smith’s record (I still can’t believe that) can breed contempt and in this case it can breed a lack of discipline and respect. If we had either of those the event over the weekend and todays antics at the press conference would never happen.
