Cool story, didnt answer my question

You should learn to read what people say and try to understand it then.

Other then their natural progress, no players don't get better. They stagnate once they reach their natural growth through age and experience. To go to the next level they need a playmaker that is better then what they have got that they can all play off the back of.

When Moses and Teddy were there they lacked depth in the forwards and even backs. Now they lack playmakers, so the players there will stagnate and get frustrated and start to look over the fence and eventually go and play in those greener pastures that are so much greener and softer to roll and frolic in. They smell better too.

Come on mate, jump the fence and come over to the Blue and Gold. You're to smart to be a lifetime loser. Come on over, we will embrace you and love you like no Tiger can. You know you want to. We make every new recruit welcome. Just do it!

Geez the knives are out for the Tigers. Massive player unrest and it’s not getting better anytime soon.

How much is Api actually earning over there? Could we provide a saviour for him to club on a 2.5 year deal?
I could feel sorry for Papali'i.

But he should have known better from his time at the warriors that playing in a shit team for more money doesn't necessarily make you happy or play better football.

He bit off too much he could chew maybe his manager strong armed into going there but Papa should have known the consequences from his experience at the warriors.

Each NRL team pays their players from the grant that comes from the NRL that covers the entirety of the salary cap. I dont think EPL teams are relying on grants to fund their non existent salary cap. Do you think the NRL are going to fund 9 million dollars to a club dropped to reserve grade? And how then is that club going to pay all those players?

The real world is completely different for NRL and EPL players.

I'm not suggesting anything of the sort. I was replying specifically to a claim made regarding whether a player would accept a contract that didn't include a relegation release clause. Where did I say anything else?

Wasn’t the claim about whether an NRL player would accept a contract without a relegation clause?

Does it fund the entire squads salary?
Well clubs that gain promotion to the EPL would set their budget with the payments in mind, whatever they are.
Would the NRL be able to afford this?
I guess it would come out of the budget for their payments to all the clubs. If the clubs ever agreed to relegation/promotion (i.e. never) they would also need to agree on the payments, since it would ultimately come out of their pocket. It would depend on their assessment of their own likelihood/impact of relegation. But as I said, this is all fantasy talk. It'll never happen.
