Any explanation from RCG's brain explosion? Malicious tackle. He is lucky to get 4 weeks I reckon.
If he came out and explained the guy he did it to twisted his testies in an earlier tackle or something similar at least we could get an idea why.
Fatigue perhaps backing up from origin. It was what 28 mins in.

The frustration is they shouldn't have had the ball.

Hopgood's dumb offload while we were down a man should never have seen them have the ball in that situation.

As usual you change the narrative so you feel like you make smart comments.
No I really don’t understand how a couple of teenagers from SG Ball would be better than the experienced deadshits in reserve grade. They might be going okay in Jersey Flegg but the step up from there to playing against adults is enormous. If they were ready to play against men they would be playing reserve grade, like other Flegg-eligible reserve graders Loizou, Mataele, Brazel, Betham-Misa and your mate AMS. Or like Flegg-eligible first graders Penisini and Russell. Those youngsters you mention might well be better players in the future but we need a Sivo replacement next week ffs.

Dunster and Blake might have played some poor games in first grade but they have also played some great games in first grade.

I feel like it looks worse in slow motion than at speed. He was going across to cover as the tackle was being made and the opposing player was falling in the tackle. No excuse (since you should never lead with your knees regardless of the duration) but I reckon it was simply a poor split second decision.

I just used the worst two in living memory as my examples... the point was more Pou's faulty logic that just because someone plays in a (losing) grand final, they aren't a shit player.

I cannot recall one “great game” by Dunster. I cannot even recall a great moment by Dunster. He was bog average before his injury and even worse now.

And who should that be? If you say Dunster or Lumelume I give up.
