Huh? Where did I say anything of the sort? They are turds. Obviously they shouldn’t be in first grade. I responded to BA being able to polish a turd. Which of these turds did he polish?

Not every turd can be polished. Even Bellamy has had a few merkins who were never more than backups. Arthur’s strike rate is very good though. Not being able to polish every turd doesn’t mean he doesn’t polish plenty of them.

Didn’t Papa play for NZ at 19?? Never a turd he just lost his way. Same as Carty he was never a turd but his home life was shit and so was his footy. Credit for Bea to getting him running hard though. Guys like Mau or Edwards were never turds either just needed to play footy.

Well it depends what you mean by turd. If a bloke doesn't have potential no amount of polishing will get him to achieve anything. Is the turd the player without potential or the player who hasn't reached his potential?
