I read on here 2025 will be when our gun juniors should be ready for FG so our premiership dynasty from 2024 to 2029 will contain a mix of old & new.

And I'd expect Hopgood to get recognised in that type of squad.

Maybe RCG (assuming he'll be left out of Mal's final 20-man squad) and Moses (having played a bit of Origin this year) too.

Gutherson unavailable (knee surgery) and Paulo unavailable (boxing). I'm not sure Matterson is in the running for any honours by the league this season after his selfishness in chooing suspension over the fine, but can maybe make amends for that next season.

You are young dear grasshopper. Don't count your ducks just yet. The fertility of our drakes may not be what it is cranked up to be or strong and then there is the loss to wolves and jackals that we will need to consider.

Best you brace yourself for the inevitable excuse makers that will surface to defend our hapless farmers who wouldn't know how to spot a decent drake or mend a hole in the fence to save their lives, but somehow keep living off the land like they are producing award winning birds so impressive that they are designated for the emperor's Peking duck buffet.

Replacing the coach will always be a big change. The timing is hardly ever precise.

Both teams were pretty strong teams and should have won. He has shown he is a better coach to whomever follows him.

Like I said wouldn't say no but I doubt he would win a GF with us.

OK well if he is that which is around 5' 11'' in the old measurement that isn't bad at all. He will just need time to fill out. They should be working hard on that at the club right now, which I'm sure they are. But he would be at best still at least 3 years away from being an NRL player and then who knows how long to get adjusted and if he will make it?

We will finish 4-6th next season, management will shoot a load in their pants and extend him and the cycle of male pattern baldness and failure will continue.

I'm having trouble working out whether people would prefer that we win a premiership in the next 2 years (under BA) and extend him, or don't win a premiership and toss him.
