I agree there, 850k is a lot for a center but do we go and pay 400k now for a center with Gutho still at fullback. (there isn't too many centers on the market at the moment and we saw recently when we tried to get the merkin from the titans he was playing hard ball with Salary and years.)

Or pay 300k for Sanders to play 5/8 Gutho Centre Brown Fullback?

We Also have to look to the future with Dick Penisini and Blaize Tuilagi at the centers in 2-3 seasons.

Sanders might turn out to be the next Andrew Johns but right now he is surplus to our needs with Moses approaching the peak of his powers and Brown being a world class five eighth already. We’d be better of spending that money to buy a good hooker (lol) and better players in 2-5 position.

Would be Parra's luck wouldn't it. Sanders goes and becomes an immortal.

But really Souths went down the route of punting an experienced half too early in Reynolds for a supposed gun junior in Ilias and its backfired.

We have invested what 6 years in Moses now may as well do 10-11 years. Like we have come all this way why let him go now. Halves i reckon are playing better in there early 30s anyway.

We don't need to buy a good Hooker we just need one of our hookers that tackles and passes to Moses/Brown.

Panfers hooker is perfect example.

Sanders may be a Dud our next signing to play in the centers may also be a dud.

Brown is a world class player but at the moment does not get involved enough especially on the left side of the field.

Nothing stopping him going to fullback and getting more involved and having Sanders or even Asi at 6.

We haven't won a competition with our current side and it doesn't look like we are going to sign a decent outside back... It also doesn't look like BA has much focus on promoting from within unless their last name is Arthurs... We just signed a second rower even though we need better backs..

The club probably thought Loizou another Rouse Hill Rhino would come along like Penisini & Russell a lot quicker by now.

Not sure where he is at but seems like Penrith got the best one out these 5 players in Turuva.

And we picked up the scraps.

I think Russell still is a good player JA will be fine hidden in the Manly system now. Sam never understood how he was given a top 30 development spot. Who is the guy on the far right! Looks like Sam Walker!

Sanders wouldn't be ready 2024. 2025 if he is good enough you could offer him a back upmspot and bench role and then consider him for 2026. D.Brown may move on or might be worth considering at fullback. Gutherson will be 31 in 2026. He might start to decline and a centre spot might be ok for him.
