Other clubs are forming alliances with schools and clubs in QLD and Country NSW, what’s our position on this , Westfields Sports has been sort of controlled by Manly and the Dogs for a while , Hills Sports sees other clubs placing boys there too. Let’s not forget Penrith have foothold in Port Macquarie, Bathurst and Lithgow, does our hierarchy have any plans to create links anywhere, late to the party again.

There really is a need to step up their game, losing over 80% of last years NRLW GF team and failing to add anywhere near elite players to the backs for a long time does pose competence questions.

Guess the board has to ask serious questions if this persists , can they put together a competitive NRLW side, and find someone who will improve the NRL team which doesn’t look to be the case. Let’s hope MON and Jim Sarentinos have some decent surprises before the end of the year as that should be minimum requirement for them to be in position next year.

It was a club option, which I’m guessing must be the smartest concept known to man. Why would a player agree to a club option? Why would a club agree to a player option? What’s in it for them? Probably best not to think about it and just have a f**ken whinge.

I agree the club needs to have partnerships far and wide Burty is the coach of the Bears up in QLD should be reaching out to him to get our claws in at that club.
