Jirah is someone who could find himself looking for other options whether in the NRL or super league if anybody shows any interest.

I believe the Tigers would need to use a half with pace and patience to truely unlock Ice with alot of support play ffor his offloads. Could be Bud?

I believe that would be why we haven't seen any movement from our end yet. When a player who signs a decent deal at a club, where he is almost expected to be the immediate replacement for a superstar 2nd rower, finds himself not even on the interchange for reserve grade. Alot of red flags are there for clubs to not go near him.

Luai probably ideal for the tigers to pair with Ice to be fair.

I personally do not understand the decision, even though I actually do think he is a decent footballer. From what I have heard is that he is not someone the Eels are looking to get rid of this upcoming season. Obviously Jirah is someone who could find himself looking for other options whether in the NRL or super league if anybody shows any interest. I heard a few whispers a few months ago about matterson potentially being thrown up as a player we would be willing to let go of, though I do think that has died off especially after the JAC rumours. Makatoa was another player that was an being looked at from overseas though now that he got injured I do not expect anything to happen unless it comes during next season

There were high hopes for sure, especially after he reportedly trained very well in the last preseason and got the starting opportunity in the first trial ahead of Doorey, who the next week jumped Momoisea after his poor performance.

He is Ron Massey cup level to borderling NSW cup. To go to the UK you'd have to be fringe NRL level minimum.

Yeah we have plenty of middles and alot the same quality as ogden.

I believe we have young talent that have a much higher ceiling and would be much better used in the squad but as I said with the plans to move on some other middles in squad, the view is that atleast for this season we need a bit of experience in the depth before blooding these younger guys in first grade. I'd expect Mataele to get a shot this year, but for the Tuivaiti and co I'm more confident in 25

I just can't picture Jarome in a tigers jersey atm.

His Mt Druitt gangster vibe just does not blend in well with the inner west.

I think he will stay for unders at Penrith or go to the Dogs.

There is a smokescreen somewhere atm. The Tigers are the easy bait every player and his manager use to get a pay rise.

Everyone needs backups. He’s very good for a back up. What do you expect from a back up. Your top 30 can’t be all first tier players FFS. Look at the Storm.

Money talks, and if Tigers come with the hugest offer it would be hard for him to turn it down. Reunite with Api who chased the money over there too.

You beat me to it. There is no way he was signed as a direct replacement for Ice.
Murchie and Doorey would have been in front of him from day 1.

Im no Momo fan but to be fair he actually played Ok in limited opportunities at the Knights.
193cm 109kg he could have been seen as a player of potential but he hasnt worked out so far.
I would also be overjoyed if he went elsewhere but I did not bag his signing.

It seemed that ba wanted Murchie to be a middle.. I don't think he played a NRL game on the edge.

We can convince Gus he is a mediocre utility. Dogs cant get enough of em.

I think Papali'i would be completely wasted in the middle. Would basically become Joffa. The problem with Ice at Tigers is he needs a halfback that gives him the ball at the gap as he hits it. Brooks fed him early ball all year and Papali'i had to do too much work (pretty much the opposite for Bateman). Hopefully with new halves we can use Ice better this year.

I think he’s way better as a middle. He gets found out in defence on the edges. His best season was 2021 when he played in the middle.
