If you restart it, it’s still a clunker. But I also said it was in gravel, not broken down. I don’t know what that infers in the comparisonAre you saying that we have nobody who knows how to restart a car?

There is less pressure on Luai because their defence means they aren’t always chasing points.
I would too but I'm sure he signed at the dogs for 2 years and already turned us down last yr. Quality playerI would offer Blake Wilson 300-350k and. A starting wing spot next to Lomax
That’s confirmation bias. Every team looks like that sometimes (even against us), but as a frustrated fan you remember it more when it’s your team.

It doesnt help when our HOF puts a notional value on each position and won't offer anyone higher than that, regardless of our need or their quality. If they were that good they would be on too much to fit into our squad. We already have the following players on more than minimum salary:
Penisini
Sivo
Simonsson
Dunster
Russell (probably)
There’s only so much you can keep offering to new players at the same position. Adding Alamoti to this lineup would be throwing good money after bad. The solution, if you can’t ‘incentivise’ players to leave with minimal payout, is to wait for their contracts to expire, like we’ve done with Simonsson. The reason we haven’t signed a gun outside back prior to Lomax is that we haven’t had the cap space at his position.
That level of inflexibility, in and of itself, warrants rethinking the person who imposes that notional value holding that role.It doesnt help when our HOF puts a notional value on each position and won't offer anyone higher than that, regardless of our need or their quality.
I agree that if it was true, it would. That level of inflexibility, in and of itself, warrants rethinking the person who imposes that notional value holding that role.
Now our shit CEO and MON are in the spotlight. Good. They are f**king amateurs. Who the hell hired these nobodies? Management of this club is shameful.
Now that we have both Penisini and Lomax for 2025, does that mean there has been a change of stance on these positional notional values? It doesnt help when our HOF puts a notional value on each position and won't offer anyone higher than that, regardless of our need or their quality.
Maybe, but they may never have actually existed. Who would know? Now that we have both Penisini and Lomax for 2025, does that mean there has been a change of stance on these positional notional values?
I thought you said they did???Maybe, but they may never have actually existed. Who would know?
Or did I miss the sarcasm? It doesnt help when our HOF puts a notional value on each position and won't offer anyone higher than that, regardless of our need or their quality.
time to put a notional value on O'neillIt doesnt help when our HOF puts a notional value on each position and won't offer anyone higher than that, regardless of our need or their quality.
I’d say any kids up there athletic enough for league are already contracted in the AFL system.
How can you say that seeing we only have 26 or 27 people in the top 30?
You continue to be an epic clown that just writes garbage to get a rise out of people.
It’s still at least $130k X 3 or 4.it's not the number of players but the amount of money they are on which is the more significant numbers
I think we have been bent over by the likes of Mitch, Dylbags, and Gutho, or at least their managers bent us over and MON spreads his cheeks and let it happen
then we have players like Matto et al on bigger salaries than they would get at other clubs
if it's true that we have 3 or 4 spots open and f**k all to spend, it's just a sign of how poor our salary is being managed
Does that mean he has ‘stepped up’ or just that he is better at kicking? Drown is better than Luai at defence and he has a better running game. He is worse at kicking. Nobody has stepped up or failed to step up. It’s a narrative. But his long and short kicking game has been superb. Dylan's was just average.
We’ve missed our halfback for nine games. With him in the team our attack has been quite good. Without him it’s been garbage. Whether you want to blame somebody is beside the point. The fact is we attack well when Moses is in the team.We have the 12th best attack according to points scored. Rabbits are 15 points behind and played a game less so I'd back then to be 12th and us 13th. Canberra also.played one less game and 10 points behijd so thst takes us to 14th
Titans are also a game less and 24 points behind. Depending what they score on the naked up game we could be 15th best. But most likely we are 14th best ATTACK.
I don’t think our need should come into it except at the most crucial positions. That’s a short term condition that can lead to long term negative impact. But their quality should absolutely be the main factor in the price, regardless of position. It doesnt help when our HOF puts a notional value on each position and won't offer anyone higher than that, regardless of our need or their quality.
