Edwards was a criminal case which makes it public interest. Cartwrights is an agreement between 2 people. Unless there's a complaint from other party then it's not public interest. That said there doesn't appear to be a confidentiality agreement on that, so suck shit Cartwright

It's news because he is a public figure and he is expected to act in a certain way in both that capacity and as a so called decent member of society. Perhaps it doesn't deserve such a massive piece but honestly this is, IMO, far worse than what Kenny Edwards did so on the scandal scale it warrants more air time...has he committed a crime? Maybe, maybe not, we'll have to see....but just because its not illegal doesn't make it off limits IMO

To be fair Kenny got punished or the severity of the punishment was for his past misdemeanors. So it's not right to suggest that Kenny has been treated harshly for just throwing a glass of water over his GF. The glass of water was the straw that broke the camels back.
