So i assume Zac Lomax will finally turn up to training this week.

Jarome Luai has returned to training today at the Tigers and his season finished 4 weeks after Lomax's and he also went to the UK for Samoa.

Iongi was similar and was part of the Tongan for the Pacific Champs.

Moses came back last week and he was on the same timeline as Lomax's as Dragons season finished the same weekend as ours.

Tigers can offer around $1M more than any other club, cap compliant, by upgrading for 25 & 26. Id consider $1M a pretty big advantage. Of course he probably rather play for Roosters etc, but throw away $1M up front?
I had started to think Galvin may possibly remain a Tiger - until you started with your reasoning for him remaining.

Now I can't see it for two reasons:

1) Money can't be the only motivation - he will want success if he can get money approaching the tigers offer (and it won't be $1m difference); and

2) you say he will stay - that's enough to kill any chance.

Agreed. If we are bottom 4 half way through the season, he will go and I wouldnt blame him.

The difference will be around $1M however. Say Roosters ( or other successful club) offer him $1M, then Tigers will need to offer him at least around $1.2, but Tigers are able to offer him $500K extra for 25 & 26 which no one else can. Tigers can match other offers and pay overs without killing future years caps.

Im not saying he will stay. Im saying that Tigers being able to upgrade 25 & 26 is a massive advantage.

fair enough - but you are as big a mock for the tigers as many of us are for the Eels!

Disappointed we didn’t go after Terrell May but in JR we trust. This is a really good interview, he comes across well. Doesn’t look as good for the Roosters or Robbo though.

So basically when you can't explain it.. it's all due to luck
No it’s all about resources, whether you think you can explain it or not. Luck generally evens out over time, but consider this; are the Roosters lucky Politis is a fan? It’s a rhetorical question so don’t bother with your lightweight attempts at a gotcha.
