The best thing the club can do is just go about their daily business. The team needs to work hard so that they win on Friday night and the administration needs to go on trying to sign the next player.

"This offer was made after reviewing the consequences of the NRL Salary Cap decision and the importance of maintaining a strong roster for 2017 and 2018.

"While it was a substantial offer, we were advised by Jarryd's management that it was not comparable to the other proposals.

I dont think we have much to say really, we f**ked up and thats a given. We couldn't make an offer due to the shit storm we have created and we are still deep in it.
