Mannah = Captain
Off a penalty, kick off, line drop out, props start the sets. And usually theae are the most important sets in attacking oppurtunities.
Who remembers Hindmarshs last 2 seasons? Was like watching a cripple hit it up. A shadow of the brut he once was. Sad days.
But thats footy. Guys can go from top shelf to average in 12mths.
Its a young mans game.
You can work hard in limited minutes. Brown only makes 0.5 tackles per minute because he has to conserve his energy for 80 minutes. But Mannah can go nuts because he is playing less than 40 every week. Why do we need him to play longer minutes? We have Alvaro to directly replace him.Form was same as last 5 seasons. Doesnt really offer stuff all. Would be fine in a team where had a stand out prop. Props should have some of these.
Offload
Power/tackle break ability
Pass before line
Hard working/endurance
Aggressive
Leader
Good in wrestle
Not sure Tim has one of those. Used to be a hard worker and big mins, maybe he still has but BA doesnt want him to play that role.
We have a couple of decent middle forwards in the NYC (or at least eligible, in the case of Stone). Beside him, we have impact forwards Dresler (currently injured) and Kaufusi who is carving up in the NYC despite still being eligible for SG Ball.Don't forget, we seem to have some decent 20's players coming through.
The club would have had to made a decision whether it's worth investing on Twal or of there are some better youngsters to invest in.
Twal is a "project" player not an experienced top 17 player.
It's a gamble, but really our junior system / structure looks pretty good now, putting out potential NRL players each year, so we no longer need to pay overs for back ups.
Yep, but it's a lot harder choosing who has to tackle and who doesn't.As Pou likes to say. You can choose who you give the ball to.
As Pou likes to say. You can choose who you give the ball to.
The latter, but I like saying it as well.Do you think Pou actually likes to say that or rather feels he has to because alot of posters on here don't understand?
I rate Woods plenty. I would rather we got him than Tedesco when both were ostensibly available.Actually reckon Woods goes ok and would be what we need. His stats are pretty good 160 m / 27 tackles (minimal missed) and low error rate (not sure of his mins but), all in a pretty average side. Plus he has a nice offload.
To be fair, he did have a sprint endurance session the next morning.11:30?
f**ken lightweight
Graham's a star though you f**ken ratbag. Jackson is a quality first grader. And would be just as effective in the middle. Please what?? It's laughable the wraps he gets. Give me Wade Graham over that plodder any day the week.
Geez I completely missed that. He's the kid we signed as a 15 year old, who back flipped when the Warriors offered him big money.Erin Clark hasn't been there that long to have Stuart stuff him up.
Wighton's a centre. Great physically, but he doesn't have the brains or the skills for fullback.Rapana would be a nice replacement for Semi.....
And while we don't have a spot for wighton, the kid can play but needs a change and some decent coaching !!

I saw him in the NYC earlier this year and he looked fat.
Because Graham is a much better attacking player. That seems to be what separates the stars from everyone else. How do you figure? Graham is 26 and played 4 origin games. Jackson is 26 and played 9 origin games and 2 tests for Australia. Why is Graham the star and Jackson just a quality first grader?
Who was the manager comma football?Just to set it straight, he was set to come to us when the manager, football again declined to sign off on accomodation expenses for an out of district player
If he was still with the club, no doubt players that we have recruited in the past 2 years could well be elsewhere
. Pou, please don't disbelieve this or make some argument, it is what occurred , thank goodness he was removed and those decisions are now handled by the recruitment manager, Bernie and BA

Jackson is a better defender, and given our edge forwards, would fit better into our team. He would play in the middle for us. Wade Graham would be wasted in the middle, much like Manu Ma'u and Kenny Edwards.
Jackson is a quality first grader that we would have to pay top dollar for, we'd be paying overs because of Daley's hard on for the bloke.Graham's a star though you f**ken ratbag. Jackson is a quality first grader. And would be just as effective in the middle.
