I don't think you can get and keep the type of playing roster you mention without getting the admin side right. Just like Melbourne, Roosters and Brisbane have.

This is the point. Merkins can see that we need better management, but they think that just means replacing the coach. The fact is there is a whole bunch of other 'management' functions that these other clubs have that we don't, and I don't think it's in the club's power to get them. Can we get well-connected board members who love the club? Can we get wealthy fans happy to divert profits from their companies into 'legit' TPAs for our players? Can we compete for the best CEOs, heads of football or coaches? IMO if we could we already would have.

I think the club is producing its own blueprint at the moment - it's called doing a review.

Depemds who does it. I wpuld of had 1 guy and one guy only.

The review should identify the issues that are important and outline what needs to be done to manage those issues effectively.

Provided their findings are written in blue text then I think it classifies as a blueprint.

Watmough,Foran,MJ,Moses and extended Norman. I wont use Evans as he isnt really a big money signing. Ore then likely a 300-350k who plays like a 150-200k and had 1 season so still hope.

The others on I guess well over 700k. Of all of them why does BA want gone prior to contract up. Does it represent 5 mistakes?
Sure you can bounce guys who where a success like Brown or Gutho, but they where low risk. We signed heaps of those just like Frank,Matagi etc.Some worked some didnt......

Id also throw in Hoffman however he may only be on 250k so not terrible. Still to much for a Wenty player as is Evans.

Of the 5 big guns BA wants all gone prior to end of contract. Thats 5 big mistakes whoever signed them.

Being generous with Hoff and Evans.

I just feel none of BA big signings did much. Beau Scott was another but atleast he finished his contract and had 1 good year out of 3. His 2nd was average and this season was the super top up year.

Someone is signing these guys so whoever is needs to be accountable.

Not sure blaming Foran's meltdown on BA is fair. Better to blame one of his former Manly team mates.

We could have at any time since DF was booted out . The problem is that everyone who could have done something about it was there for the wrong reasons. Now at least we have a board of professionals who aren't hooked on the smell of linament.

Or maybe it is simply a matter of getting closer to the final roster and then announcing it, instead of drip feeding it out there.

Especially when there are players that may be re-signed if no better alternative is found.
