Given the fact that we will probably not play many Home Games in the first 6 to 8 weeks that you'd have to imagine we will get a good idea of whether the coach will be around in 2020 fairly early on.

He's certainly up against at this stage.

Given the obstacles he'll have to hurdle, I reckon sentiment rather than wins will be the deciding factor.

I was calling for him to play fullback all year and I hope he does in 2019. That article doesn’t say he will def play fullback.

I meant I hadn’t seen anything indicating that BA had decided Hayne will be our fullback.

Anyone who has refereed any sport, if they are 100% honest with themselves, would admit they may have made a call that had some bias. The "good" ones may then try to compensate for that bias, occasionally even to the point of reversing that bias. It's the nature of the beast.
Unfortunately it can also creep into the players' minds as well.

Actually that's all bullshit, I reckon Greenberg lay down a secret penalty that we must have slow PTBs, thus less chance of winning, he'll probably step in at some point, my guess around when Max does finally leave, he'll talk up some shit about us being a #powerhouse, then almost as if we were being driven by the magnanimousness of the Turdster we'll suddenly have the quickest play the balls

In the last game against the chooks we were attacking 10m out. Cordner made a tackle and the ref told him "move it, move it"
5 mins later the chooks were in out 10m attacking. Instead of us getting a "move it move it" call the ref just instantly blew a penalty without giving instructions to our players. Obviously that's not why we got beat but it happens in every game and shits me no end

Also Matt Keating and Daniel Mortimer. For every Hayne you need several merkins who have a go.

That 2009 team was more arsey than quality anyway. They finished eighth, and missed the finals in the years either side of ‘09.

Hayne is very talented but there’s plenty of evidence that he’s a bad influence.
