I must admit, this muppet made me laugh. Apparently Manly can offer more than us because they have 10 players off contract. We have close to 20 players off contract and could go after any player we wanted if we were keen to stuff our roster balance.

Will anyone really be devo if Gutho goes elsewhere? He’s a good player but No world beater and def not worth more than 550k. He’s not rep standard. Part of me wishes we’d pull the deal and revise it down to 550k take it or leave it. If Manly wanna pay 700k then good luck to them. His knees could go any day.

Not sure that Moanly will offer the terms that his manager is looking for, they have already paid DCE, upgraded the Trbojevics, resigned both front rowers, so it could likely be a play to make us rush into completing the deal.

Personally, rate Gutho but he is not in the same postcode as Tedesco, Turbo, Ponga who would be on the dollars his manager is after. If the club stepped up and bent over for Ayoub's demands, where would that leave management in any future signings, need to take a chill pill and let it play out.

Unfortunately , if he wants the big dollars , he may have to go, not sure who would stump up the dollars, but that's what happens as the media is manipulated by player managers.
